That's what they say at Relcom. :) Only for some reason in the price lists they write the cost of “annual support” for an address in the zone .ru and .spb.ru. I'm not sure about the "price for creating an address." But I remember that in the .s-pb.ru zone it was cheaper. Please note - the money is not taken for selling the address, but for supporting your records on the DNS server. Well, actually.... :) All the best, Alexander.

AM> Well, actually.... :) Money is taken for: 1) registration (for a period of one year, then re-registration). 2) support for recording in DNS 3) "hosting" 4) because you were “prop(ed)ed” If you don’t need 3 and 4, but can do point 2 yourself, all you have to do is pay only for point 1, which sometimes happens for free.
