Can Sandra be trusted?

Greetings, All! Today I decided to deal with the noise made by the fans. inside the computer, I slowed down the fan in the power supply with a resistor and turned it the other way so that it sucked air from rooms. Since it now rotates more slowly, and the temperature air in the room is lower than inside the case, it seemed more correct to me. In addition, I stuck a resistor into the gap CPU fan power and to check how much it is works stably, launched SiSoft Sandra 2001 BurnCPU TEST. I finished it off within half an hour and measured the temperature with a lily pad, which came with the motherboard. Scrap showed 49 degrees. Previously, the temperature did not rise above 43 degrees. But now it has become quiet - the fan speed has decreased from 3200-3400 to 1690-1720. At the same time I decided to check the speed of calculations and all that. I ran CPU Benchnark and got results that I was puzzled: CPU Benchmark: My processor (Celeron Tualatin 1200 on VIA Apollo Pro 133T): 1. Dhrystone ALU - 3356 MIPS 2. Whetstone FPU - 1604 MFLOPS For comparison, here are the results of other processors: Intel Pentium IV 1500 MHz (i850): 1. 2807 MIPS 2. 1825 MFLOPS Intel Pentium III 1000 MHz (KT133): 1. 2720 2. 1336 CPU Multi-Media My processor: 1. Integer SSE - 6505 it/s 2. Floating-Point SSE 8087 it/s Pentium IV - 1.5 GHz: 1.5892 2. 7314 Pentium III - 1 GHz: 1.5452 2. 6672As you can see, my processor turned out to be not only faster than a full-fledged one P3 on the 133 bus, but even faster than P4 in both tests. On the other hand we start drive warm air from the power supply to the CPU, but that’s not a big deal, since the temperature increased by only 3 degrees compared with the way it was before.
