Greetings, All!
Folks, does anyone know what the sabzhe man is doing now?
Xia is the author of such masterpieces as Dark Scepetre, War
in the Middle Earth, Lords of Midnight, Doomdark Revenge and so on
anyone else? Is there any way to contact him via email?
and write to him? In some issue "500 games for ZX-SPECTRUM"
in the description of Doomdark Revenge it is written that the authors intended
also the third, final part of the trilogy, the beginning of which was
This is true for the games Lords of Midnight and Doomdark Revenge. to me
I wonder if Singleton released it or not? He should talk about

And also, people, someone throw a thread completely diskette ver-
this Doomdark Revenge (I think it's in the ZX-ELE-magazine appendix)
There was MENT N2, but I don’t have it), or, if suddenly all

No, Lords of Midnight - by Hacker Stinger (that was a decent one

I think so too, but, unfortunately, hackers are not in fashion now - everyone wants to be
demomakers :( And as for WitM, as far as I know (years like this before 1997 ;) - not

Come on, there weren’t enough releasers in Moscow, or what? ;) Anyway, there were more _restorators_ than everywhere else put together - Titys, Rom/SBHG,
Max/FFC, KSA... I can’t remember them all... Stinger, by the way, worked rather carelessly
- I remade several things after it. LoM is also full of glitches, isn't it?

Is the game completely recovered and restored? Then Rom/SBHG did it for
SPF (as I remember now, I paid him fifty dollars ;)

And the music in these demos is almost always moronic - in the style of "an ant jerks off to
hemp."
DG> Come on, there weren’t enough releasers in Moscow, or what? ;)
Why did they all run away so early - there is still work in this niche
complete.
DG> Stinger, by the way, worked rather carelessly - I
DG> there are several after it
DG> remade things. LoM is also full of glitches?
Well, to be honest, there is still one small glitch - if I have a computer
the printer is connected, even if it is not connected to the network, then with the onset of the game
nights, when the question “Do you want dawn?” should appear. by
black and white stripes began to run along the curb, then the computer loaded something onto the tape,
after which it froze. When the printer is not connected, everything works fine. In the game
there is a mode for printing the current screen on the printer, accordingly, it
impossible to use. But in principle, it’s not really necessary (and if it’s reallyif you want, you can throw it off with Magic, then rip out the picture and print it out), yes
Besides, the printer driver in the game, in my opinion, is kind of lame, obviously not for Epson
(maybe for ZX/Alfacom?), so you still won’t use it.
At the Pentagon, the above glitch always appeared, regardless of the presence or
lack of a connected printer, but on GRM and
In Scorpa everything works, because... They are still more “standard” Spectrums. On
The Pentagon version of LoM for 48K from the Island company also glitched at nightfall,
but everything was just reset there.
But in general, Stinger did it quite competently - as in his other releases,
when you issue a command to upload to disk, a beautiful menu appears where you can
write the file to disk with
arbitrarily specified name, and you can also write the state to RAMDISK in
any of the four memory banks.
And in his Neverending Story and Dragons of flame, I didn’t notice any glitches at all.

To me they are almost all the same. And I don’t collect them - I only have them lying around

They won’t show me anything new there during the next viewing, and then I erase it.

Naturally, you can’t pump up a new one, if sometimes they write something, then now that’s all
they make it for a disk, but unfinished junk is through the roof - 70 percent of all adventures
undiscovered, and probably 30 percent strategy. And branded cassettes are not
needed - people have a lot of pirated tapes lying around, and there are a lot of defects on the discswalks. For example, I have something similar:
CHURCH
HULK
VALHALLA
SEX MACHINE
LORD OF THE RINGS 1&2
CASTLE OF DREAMS
GOLDEN APPLE
SPIDERMAN
MAGNETIC MOON
WAR IN THE MIDDLE EARTH
ADVENTURELAND
ROBIN OF SHERLOCK 1,2,3
BORED OF THE RINGS (on top of that, it's glitchy)
I.D.
HUMAN TORCH AND THING
MUGSY
SEE-KAA
HAMPSTEAD
STARSHIP QUEST 1,2,3 (and then in general each subsequent part with
from the very beginning requires a tape recorder
Ruzki from the previous one)
SEAS OF BLOOD
ARNHEM
Is this not enough for a start? This is just what I have.
AA>> The game has a mode for printing the current screen on

Uh-huh. The "Z" button, as far as I remember.
