It should be noted that not many questionnaires came a lot - 20 pieces - and first of all they were filled out by spektrumists, having close contacts with the PC platform and echo conference fido7.zx.spectrum. So, what are our dear colleagues: 1. Gender, as far as it was possible to understand from the name and pseudonym, 100% male ;) 2. Age. Mostly from 18 to 22 years old (60%). In second place is 25 years old (20%). The observable age group is from 16 to 37 years. 3. Education: higher - 30% incomplete higher education - 25%secondary special - 20% average - 10% 4. Vocation: user - 40% gamer - 30% coder - 20% musician - 20% hacker - 17% programmer - 17% ironstone - 10% sneaky emulator - 10% artist - 8% 5. Working platform: ZX - 90% PC - 90% MSX - 10% 10% work only on real Spectrum, 10% - only in emulators. 6. Iron: Pentagon - 63% Scorpion - 17% Profi - 10% 128K - 50% 256K - 17% (of which 100% - Scorpion) 512K - 5% (minor percentage) 1024K - 25% (of which 50% is Profi) 30% have 2 disk drives, 40% indicated the presence of a music processor in the computer, 30% - the presence of a turbo mode (the Z80 frequency in it varies from 6 to 7.5 MHz), 17% have cache, mostly 32K, 17% - Covox, 25% - Kempston Mouse, 17% - screen 512x192, 7% - General Sound. Modems: 25% of all those who sent questionnaires have Hayes modems (usually 14400); 10% - XTR modems. The remaining modems (eg, vicomm) met in questionnaires only once, therefore, do not have a largemeaning for statistics. All other devices not mentioned above were mentioned in the questionnaires once (HD, ProfPZU, programmer, Soundrive, MadROM, XT-Keyboard) or were not mentioned at all. 7.
