There are no complex sounds. The most important rule of pronunciation: the stress always falls on the penultimate syllable. The Esperanto alphabet has 28 letters, most of which are standard Latin letters. Each letter corresponds to only one sound. Adjectives end in -a: Interesa - interesting, projekta, teatra, nova, simpatia, eleganta, juna, biblioteka. Adverbs end in -e: Interese (interesting), nepre (certainly), active, elegante, bone (good).
