Hello, All
Hello, priceless painters.
I turn to you as hope for a good, high-quality and pleasing to the eye transfer
games (I had planned for a long time on the ZX, but only realized recently, and then on PC)
to the native platform, where it is generally more appropriate than on IBM.
I think almost everyone knows the game. Nothing particularly new. I was just trying to write this
repeat the original as much as possible for preservation (and nostalgia, of course). But
there is one peculiarity. The game was built independently of its set of sprites and
sounds. There is an option from an INI file and a set of bmp and wav specified in it
completely change the look of the game. That. not only repeat other games from
created on the Electronics chipset, but also come up with new ones. What happened
can be viewed here:
Game 1.6 [ftp://ftp.kmzpub.ru/pub/games/win/wellwait.rar] on ftp Kurgan
game server [http://www.kmzpub.ru] (Russia).
Game 1.6 on the kmzpub.ru mirror in Moscow
[ftp://80.93.57.65/pub/games/win/wellwait.rar]
Website [http://www.sky.od.ua/~ptsk] :( (to put it mildly), where there is version 1.7
[http://www.sky.od.ua/~ptsk/ww.zip] and example skin
[http://www.sky.od.ua/~ptsk/Skins.zip] to her.
Now I'm translating the game code into asm. The scheme for changing skins can also be saved on
Specky. Difficulty with graphics. I could somehow convert it, but maybe
will someone agree to do this better (which won’t be hard, because I’m not an artist)?Apparently, for a game like this with an LCD indicator, where the sprites are fixed and not
intersect, for animation (on/off sprite) it is enough to change only
attributes, especially if the sprites do not share familiarity with other sprites and
background. This last one is the most difficult, as always.
I'm looking forward to the answers.
Sincerely

I want to. More games, good and different. "Secrets of the Ocean" is also available, here's the link
just didn't give Cpt. Cobalt to check it out (if it's even available at the race).
I would like to add some color to the background, perhaps increase the size. And the behavior of the eggs,
no offense intended... Looks like I just didn't have the original at hand. Although this
The version is better than numerous IBM ones.
But, I don’t want to step on any copyrights. Therefore, I would like to ask whether
Are the authors of the game KooLeGGz present on the forum: Kurleson, Deadie, Davos from
Cherepovets, or anyone who can tell me how to contact them through the networks?

It will definitely be (I'm serious).

Specky has been written for about five years now, it’s called “Cool Eggs” and it’s here:

If you want to do better (the current version is also very good), or
continue the series of these games with the release of "Secrets of the Ocean", "Auto Rally" or something else,
then - go ahead!
By the way, the planned modular type of game with changing graphics and something similar
An INI file on the Spectrum would also be nice...

Hello icebear
About copyrights - in case there are problems later.
Contact them - it might be faster to combine their ZX and my PC options,
than transferring from scratch. By the way, then there is also a question of copyright.

Yeah, I’m stupid... For some reason I looked in the Archive... In vain. Yes, I got the name :) ,
I've already watched both games. Beautiful. But I’ll try my version anyway.
ice> By the way, try to contact through comrade Aprisobal, he is definitely here

There is soap on their website and in the game Diver... Well, if it doesn't work, then...
But thanks for the information in any case.

ice> Then you need to go to Japan :)
If the visa and tickets are yours :) :) ... But for permanent residence - no.
And in general, jokes aside, but you need to talk to HorrorSoft, regardless of the topic
conversation: (c) there or not (c).
By the way, neither this nor this game is posted on their website [http://www.metacom.ru/~kahs].
Why?

Hello Orionsoft
Oh, what is this? A joke or a scan of a real game?
Sprites are easiest to obtain for someone who has the original working game
physically in your arms.

There can be no problems. They are not the copyright holders of these games.

Don't pay attention. A bad example of flaming is contagious, especially if
read some sections of the forum :)

What copyrights are we talking about in the context of the named persons? Nobody takes them away
copyright for their implementation and no one is stopping you from making your own.

Most likely they are just of such quality that they look good
only when extrapolating with higher resolution

Wow, yes, the authors did their best here. A lot of games are combined, and the quality is poor
height. Graphics, sound. Here are just errors in the reliability of the gameplay, as always
(probably the only thing in which my version is not inferior, but superior).
Diversity will be very useful when developing a unified ZX engine,
thanks for the link.
Alc> Many photographs of similar toys: http://www.handheldmuseum.com/
There were so many of them in total, and all of them were interesting... This means that electronics were based
on Nintendo games? Yeah, it will probably be possible to find some untransferred ones
the games there...
