Hello, All
I recently came across a selection of pictures on DeviantArt made on Sam Coupe

Hello Raynoa
Reminds me of a "cropped" version of the Atari ST. Although the graphics potential
the machine is undoubtedly felt.

The funny thing is that similar potential can be realized on the Spectrum, it’s not enough
In addition, it has already been partially implemented.

Hello fan
fan> What are we talking about???
About the video modes of the SAM Coupé computer. Some modes are available in some
Soviet clones.

Hello icebear
ice> Some modes are available in some Soviet clones.
Either my requests are very high or I just don’t see decent video modes
%) The only joy is "Color on point" from AlCo, but no one is in a hurry with
bother with this (you can only dream about a scrollable palette).

Well, that's another question. SAM has two modes with color per dot, that's why I
wrote "partially". By the way, there was something about the number of flowers, no?
I remember Ivan Mak, together with whom (or based on someone’s idea) threw at
zx.spectrum what color depth expansion scheme. She even seems to be somewhere
I have.

Hello PheeL
Phe> You need 64 colors and a custom palette, then we’ll sweep away everything in our path! A 16
Phe> colors and standard palette - this is, excuse me, EGA.
And also an expansion of 1024 by 768, and 16 million colors, and graphic
accelerator from whatever nVidia, and also.... and also.... COME TO YOUR FUCK!!! THIS
SPECTRUM!!!!

Hello, rasmer
ras> WAKE UP!!!! THIS IS A SPECTRUM!!!!
So I walk in circles around the gigascreen. You can even use it on your own Spectrum
show. And if you’re going to make an extension... then you probably shouldn’t do it :)

Clearly, partly from the worst side :D
I don’t remember anything about the number of flowers point-blank, although something ran in some
magazine, there was also a flickering bit that also became some kind of color, but that’s all
it was familiar = why needed.
Please attach Ivan Mak's option.
