Hello, All
This is the request I received from the holder of the Pixel portal:
> I have one more question to ask you. Can you write
> a short article about the graphics of games for the Spectrum, a little history, and
> may be what is happening now. A lot of pixel visitors
> the portal believes that pixel graphics were generally invented for games
> mobile phones. :)
Anyone ready to help?

Hello, CityAceE
Cit> about the graphics of _games_ for Spectrum
I'm just not in the know. There were no interviews with English artists on the Spectrum
even Your Sinclair, as I recall. You can completely forget about the Spaniards. Yes
that with the history of this issue, not everything is crystal clear either. Besides
splash pictures were often adaptations from cassette cover illustrations or
advertisements in magazines, or even crooked conversions from older machines. That's all
history. Well, yes, there were quite famous people like Nik Bruty (YS had him
photo next to Dave Perry) - after leaving Shiny he organized Planet Moon and
made G.C.Kabuto and Armed&Dangerous (this is obviously after Sega and Alladin and Earth
Worm Jim).

Here we need to dig deeper, it’s not on the Spectrum that pixel art and even
not on Nes and C64.

Hello PheeL

Phe> artists were rarely mentioned there at all.
What should I write about here?
I doubt that people who think “that pixel graphics even existed
invented for mobile phone games." it will be interesting to read about Spectum about
which they probably haven't even heard of.
Therefore, it is necessary to write a global article, explain to people what dendi, shogi and
Spectrums, slot machines they played 10-15 years ago, that’s all
Pixelart, and for those who haven’t tried it, open your eyes.
>>there’s nowhere to get this story
Isn't it obvious?
Not for the Spectrum, but in general.
On the Spectrum, Pixelart probably originated with the advent of the first editor with
"magnifying glass" mode.

Actually, they asked me to tell the story of the origin of pixelhunt... pixelart
specifically for Speccy. I immediately wrote that there was nowhere to take this story from. Interview
the magazines featured programmers; artists were rarely mentioned there at all.

I would also like to know what kind of portal this is...
And who is the holder?
And then it’s tossed around for no one knows why.
