From Alexander Bondarenko To All 3 April 2005

*Hello, All!* Yesterday I went with a friend to the Verkhnemakovskoe reservoir. This reservoir located in the upper reaches of Chusovaya, in the area of the village of Kurganovo (administrative district city of Polevsky). The reservoir itself is huge, but due to the danger of flooding it was drained. The river bed was exposed. We settled down near the mouth. There were people there 200-250. The overwhelming majority are Sverdlovsk residents. In short, I immediately realized that there will be no fishing. The fish in that place are the size of a little finger. And it bites so hard that it pulls you off nozzle and is not detected. My friend set up micro jigs with swallow hooks. As a result, I pulled out about three dozen ruffs and perches, which fit in a handful. :) I “fished” a little differently - I took a walk around the reservoir, looking at places that may be promising during high water: edges, holes, etc. At the same time I drilled on the riverbed and branches, but didn’t see a single one bites. Apparently, the fish were standing somewhere in the pits closer to the dam, but there walk several kilometers. And she probably doesn’t bite there due to late spring. We have not yet experienced intense snow melting, ice and along the banks of reservoirs - one and a half meter snowdrifts. /That’s all, All, you can scroll further.../
