*Hello, All!*
There is a subject - it belongs to the species "star flounder", lives in the far
east. We recently bought this fish in the store, and put some hefty shovels in the refrigerator.
not included.
Everything seems fine, but it has a certain amount on the skin (100-200)
cycloid spiny scales, which are very firmly embedded in the entire surface
skin Tear off only with tongs (scraping with a knife does not take them), for cleaning
one fish (for frying) took me more than an hour... There were offers for just skin
take it off, but I’m reluctant - the yummiest thing is in the skin.
In general, I wonder if it’s possible to somehow quickly remove these annoying scales without
removal of skin?

the skin will soften and the cycloid spiky scales will fall out on their own ;)
Yes, and IMHO it is fried slightly scalded, it is better.

Well, I agree, eyelashes are the same scales, only slightly modified in
process of evolution.

Which without these needles is much tastier (and twice as expensive...)

Well, at first there was a feeling that something was missing in the taste of the prickly flounder.
Then I got used to it. :)

Any fish will be tasty if you salt it for some time before frying it.

fry with vegetable oil.
