Fishing the ship (as it happened)...

*You will live long, All!*
In general, it took a long time or a short time to sharpen the hooks. I sharpened it so much that when checking
I almost pierced my nail, being a little overzealous with the force.
And so - my friend and I are shaking in a bus, whose course is towards the village of Staraya
Track of the Pervoyralsky district of the Sverdlovsk region. A river flows in that village
Chusovaya, “the pearl of the Urals”, as it is popularly called.
In the city area there is a school of fish in the river. A bunch of filthy factories are draining right away
throw all your crap into the river. However, thanks to the many streams flowing into the river and
rivers and the ability of drained rubbish to settle to the bottom, already somewhere in 30 km of flow
from the city the maximum permissible concentration does not deviate much from the norm, and further on the river is almost
normal - no different from a banal river flowing in the river
settlements.
In Trek the river is quite wide - up to 50 m. But what kind of fish is there? B
last year, in addition to a dozen caught bleaks, two chebaks and floating under the bridge
We didn’t see any chubs and minnows mixed together. Well, the pike was splashing there,
Okyn, too, judging by everything. That's all.
This time everything was much cooler.
There were some adventures here too. To the place (and they were looking for him, descending from
villages downstream) we had to get there through the rocks. And the most brutal thing is
descent from a 3-meter, almost vertical wall. This is with our heavybackpacks. The other one had mountaineering habits - he quickly disappeared down it. C
backpack! And I sweated for a long time before I carefully lowered my bag, and then
I got down myself.
Until we crawled along the shore and found a convenient place - not much time
flew by. But it was a little late (about 8 pm). We still need to organize a camp
- awning, fire pit, etc...
We caught grasshoppers along the way in the clearings. Several copies - large
"gray".
The place was chosen interesting - in the middle of the river there is a ridge of pitfalls,
forming a kind of riffle, which is also only in the middle of the long channel
goes in a stripe. A tongue of rock juts out from the shore into the water, on which it is comfortable
sit, but have nowhere to stick the rods for a fishing rod or a ship's spinning rod.
Therefore, all this was stuck into the shore.
The ship launched only at 11, when the sun was already setting. Before this they interfered
raftsmen on boats, canoes and katas. I put grasshoppers on 4 leashes: two
large, two small. And before he could get out onto the fairway, something hit him
along the line. I peered at the place where the leash twitched. And here right next to him
a storm arose, something hit the fishing line again and dragged it into the water.
Eat! - spinning transfers the heaviness and frequent beatings of the hooked fish to your hands.
Dragging to the shore. On the surface is a fish head of decent size. And here she is like
will start to rage!He started yelling: “What kind of monster?!” The friend came running, and I already had the first trophy
pulled out the stone. Not sickly, the infection will be about 30 centimeters, and half a kilo
somewhere. The friend yells: “Chub! Healthy!” And the “chub” has a large dorsal fin
like this, and purple with spots. Hariys!
Here are those on. In Chusovaya?!! Yes, he hasn’t been seen here for many years!
The fish did not last long in the cage (apparently the injury was severe) and surfaced
belly up. I had to salt it.
Then there were no more bites. I put the ship on the ratchet.
We had dinner (cooked noodles with minced meat over the fire) and went to the booth - on the side.
The fire is warm, I took off my boots and took a nap... The mosquitoes tried for free
attack us, and I figured out this totem made of spirals for them - they drove off in an instant,
filthy creatures.
At night, at 3 o'clock, the heartbreaking sound of a ratchet wakes me up. I'd rather have boots
put on. Run onto the stone. Grab the spinning rod and drag it towards you. Another flashlight
shines in the direction of the ship, and there, on a leash, drags such a round mouth,
a matchbox appeared from afar.
So a kilogram chub plopped onto a stone and tossed around. In hands
It was a little hard to hold him, but he took his place in the cage. He grabbed
a healthy grasshopper (like the grayling, by the way).
No more bites were observed. The rest of the time I spent racingthe boat back and forth along the riffle and checked the clues set in the evening with
minnows. One of them signaled with a bell, but when pulling it out, nothing happened.
discovered.
And as soon as it got lighter, the graylings suddenly began to peck. There were 3 bites in total, one
Of these, the “village” is as many as 2 grays! The little chaps were decent, though not
same as the first one.
Then there was fishing in the same place for the second time. Almost caught
two times more than the first time, and in addition to all, some
interesting: a fish was caught in the river, which officially disappeared from it years ago
in the 50s. This is a dace. Moreover, he is often here - he walks in flocks (we saw
the notorious bridge).
This time the graylings made “candles”, jumping out of the water after the flying
insects. We caught them with an artificial fly. And some other “horse”
two kilograms, being three times wider than a large grayling and one times longer
one and a half, but with some kind of golden color and red fins, jumped out of
water and, like a brick, fell flat into the water onto the dummies, drowning them out. Chub doesn't do that
arrives. In one of his jumps, this “owner of the roll” jumped out meters
4 from me and it seemed to me that his lower jaw was longer than his upper and the end
the muzzles are slightly bent upward.
Is it really possible that the asp (and besides him, from today’s “population” of the river)
no one will do it)?!! If so, then mother-Chysovaya (knock*3, knock*3) comes to liferight before our eyes. After all, this fish, as a lover of clean water, has long been (it seems
earlier dace with grayling) left these places. Although, far in the upper reaches again
hunted fish and sometimes a few dead minnows swam to our place and
stickers, but already quite decomposed. The brown one swam in the same way
mulberry greens and grass from the meadows, of which there are many along the banks of the Chusovaya
great. The local fish kept its belly open - it walked and splashed like
mad.
