Hello All!
I'm going to a place where there are crayfish...
Therefore, I am interested in any information on this matter...
How to catch them?
What to do with them then?
PS it's urgent enough
Best regards, Evgeniy.

It was 10 Aug 2002, you gave birth to a whole footcloth for All, about “catching
crayfish..." She intrigued me, so I sent her a counter message.

You need to take a circle of steel wire (about 3 mm in cross-section somewhere), with a diameter
somewhere in a meter. It is covered with mesh (I don’t remember the mesh size, but I think - 2 cm
enough for the eyes), so that the “motnya” still hangs by 20 centimeters. For the center
(bottom of the garment) a weight is attached.
Then you take a handful of sprat and let it sit for a while out of the refrigerator
(until the smell goes away). ;)
This sprat must be stuffed into a mesh bag (you can take a mesh in which
they sell onions in the market), and place them (tie them) in the center of the village.
And you throw this garbage into the area where crayfish predominate. Periodically
checking.
There is a second method - scatter a kilogram of “stewed” sprat over a pebble or
sandy shallow water in the evening. Walk there at night with a flashlight. You need to have it with you
net As soon as you see a crayfish, bam with a net.
EP> What to do with them then?

RECIPE FOR PREPARING CRAWFISH.I give preference to medium-sized crayfish. In Moscow, on my
Look, it’s better not to take the Sevan ones....some kind of insipid. So,
recipe for 1 kg - 15-16 pcs. Boil 3-3.5 liters of water in
boiling water 3 tablespoons salt, 1.5 tablespoons sugar and
a quarter teaspoon of citric acid, 15 black peas
pepper, 5 allspice peas, 2 bay leaves and a decent
amount of dill (it is much better to take dry dill with whisks and
stem) to line the bottom of the pan. Let it boil. B
boiling crayfish water. Be sure to take the time to wash them in water
with a brush - I'm not kidding - the muddy smell will disappear! Boil the crayfish for 20 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let stand for another 10 minutes. Ready. Richer in
taste than crayfish, I probably don’t know anything, I cooked all the shrimp too
colors, not bad, but there is no subtlety of taste....

But this seems to be a bummer... :(

If you dive with a mask, then with your hands. You can use gloves that
used for gardening and dacha work.
if from a boat, then with a net with a long handle. but here you have to be very agile,
because crayfish see well and swim BACK from danger.
EP> What to do with them then?
cook the water is first brought to a boil, salted (a lot, because crayfish absorb
good) put to give extra. dill smell (preferably color, not just
batwa). After the water boils, throw in the crayfish. they immediately begin to turn red.
ready - red entirely. boil in different ways, but no more than 20 minutes of boiling,
then the shell begins to delaminate.
They eat mainly the claws and tail. Personally, I'll eat it. almost everything is inside the shell, but
his brain is not tasty, his digestive gland is bitter, so I recommend
only what is directly between the gills. By the way, they've probably already started to get fat
to fatten up, so there is fat inside the shell on the sides - it’s also tasty.
By the way, I don’t particularly recommend abusing it, because... lips after so much
salty foods can easily swell.
EP> PS. urgently enoughwell how did it come...
P.S. If you put the shell of a boiled crayfish on the fire, it starts to whistle! remember
proverb - when the cancer hangs on the mountain!? I always didn't understand what cancer does to
woe! It turned out that the fishermen dragged him there to boil. :)

They are found in river backwaters, usually near stones. They catch them with their hands, but keep in mind that
During life they are very quick.
EP> What to do with them then?
In a saucepan of boiling water. Salt, pepper, bay leaf to taste. Usually they blow
to beer.
EP> PS. urgently enough
Alas, it didn’t work out urgently.

I can’t say for sure as a biologist, but only 2 substances remain there - dye
(red, respectively) and a calcareous shell, without collagen
(I think it's spelled that way...) the fibers are already...
