Balancers - those that are made in St. Petersburg and the Baltic states, do not withstand any critics: tails fall off, hooks bend as if they were not hardened at all never. "Russian balancer" is from the same series. Rapala are excellent balancers, although not cheap... If the bite is bad, Rapala works better, but if the bite is good, it doesn’t matter which one, (only sometimes the hooks unbend and bend when accidentally hitting the ice.) The lower tee should be small and not thin (not like on St. Petersburg ones) A large tee - it gets caught by the fishing line, it’s not fishing, it’s torture.
