Hello, All
This is a turn-based RPG. I played around - I played avidly, I couldn’t tear myself away. For
mobile phone - the game is simply excellent.
To interested persons I offer
Watch the game on your mobile phone (you need a pretty cool one)
Having become infected with alldos, discuss the possibility of a 1:1 transfer to ZX. Don't worry
just port 1:1. The matter is greatly simplified by the fact that many moments in
you can simply decompile the toy into the original Java text - and watch how
what... (in 90% of cases this is not required - everything is clear)
In addition, the toy is already more or less balanced, there are text messages inside
files with prescribed RPG qualities. Which sword gives how much, which one
how much does the character have, etc...
Plus, in principle (if they go, of course) - you can talk to our
the programmers who wrote it, maybe they will help (of course there is no guarantee, but... an attempt
not torture, in the Nivalov forum they babble..). There are also graphics, you can
rip.
p.s.
without playing the original toy I’m talking about, there’s no point in babbling here
"about nothing" is not enough...
The fact is that mobile allods have managed to create very good gameplay.
There are few heroes there, not crazy weapons and other items that me
I just turned away from RPGs on PC.
In general - “the very thing”. Golden mean. You can play with shock.

Yes, exactly. No time and skills.
Okay, I’ll go think about the plot and write a text quest in basic. It will turn out -
Someone will process it and bring it to mind.

Hello, scl^mc
You don't need to take me literally. I don't tell people what to take
Nivalovskie Allods are literally one-on-one and rip them off. This is really
not very interesting. No. I'm saying take GAME DESIGN as a basis and make
Spectrum version. Perhaps even with simplifications somewhere... But let's start
I definitely advise you to just copy and imitate.
Why do I suggest people pay attention to Allods, and specifically mobile ones?
The main reason is that a lot of things have already been thought out. Reference design completed. you
didn’t notice that almost ALL successful and completed Spectrum
Are home-grown domestic games made according to ready-made samples? This is UFO Glory
Mednonogova, Fire&Ice Slava Kalinin, Dune, and many others. This is no accident.
Taking a ready-made game is the key to success. Guarantee that the game will be made at all
with such tiny forces.
It is easier for spectrumists to do something that can be looked at as a model. They don't
professional game makers, and do not write code for 8-10 hours a day during
several months. And they don't have a scriptwriter, a chief game designer, a department
quality control and others. The efforts are quite modest. And the main thing is that all this
is done absolutely for free and for fun.
That is, no funding and no income...
You won't have to waste time on the actual game design. Huge number
time spent on professional design:
Game historyInterface design in one place or another - battles, a trading post, a map,
weapons, character skills.
Game balancing - careful selection of strength, health, hero skills, strength
weapons, defense, magic, crystals, mapping...
Even if you call the game "Allods", then I suspect that Nival will not have
claims, because it’s a good thing - as the ZX Spectrum platform has not been commercialized
has none. Well, as a last resort, okay, don’t call them allods, just
borrow characters, weapons, balancing and gait.
But I wish the history and maps were different.
In addition, there is something to improve - not everything is perfect in allods. Balance is far from
perfect - at the end of the game I fought all the battles even with the most serious opponents
finished in 2-3 moves, it became simply uninteresting to play, because the AI was minimal
missing.

Seriously popular? Come on, immediately give me at least one address of their hat server for

Hello, karbofos
“Make something like a fallout” is the same as “Paint something like

Repeating allods is a much more sober idea. If you do, I'll buy it.

Hello Shadow Maker
However, I heard that it was reprinted twice in Germany. True, the second
once in the collection with "Blitzkrieg".
And about the name: instead of “rage of mages” (rage of magicians) you can make “rage of
wizards" (wrath of wizards) or "rage of warriors" (rage of warriors).
Or even move away from tired fantasy into a sci-fi setting,
and call it "rage of mariners" for example.

Hello, rasmer
ras> I'M STILL TURNING TO THE MOBILE VERSION ON MY SONYERICSSON K750i... BUT ALREADY
ras> I UNCONVERTED ALL THE TEXTS... AND LOOKED AT A LITTLE MAP...
Well, in vain. I didn’t start playing knowing in advance how it would end. The end of course
sad.
The texts are in clear text, only in UTF-8 ;-) I wrote a utility:
┌─- code ───
import java.io.*;
public class decoder {
public decoder() {
}
void decode(String arg) throws Exception {
File file = new File(arg);
DataInputStream stream = new DataInputStream(new
FileInputStream(file));
while(true) {
String s = stream.readUTF();
System.out.println(s);
}
}
public static void main(String[] args) {
try {
new decoder().decode(args[0]);
} catch (Exception e) {
}
}
}
└── code ───
- original texts more than 65 kilobytes. It's more than an address space
Spectrum...

Hello Raider
We get graphics.
unpack the jar nickname,
copy all pak's into dexorer except scenes.pak
and launch the batch file.
after decompression, all png images will become visible inside the packages
(although this kills the directory of offsets at the beginning of each pack, well, it’s for us
and not needed)
..then we set my tool on each pack - pngrip,
he does all the work.
