11 Dec 98 19:44, Ilya Abrosimov reported to All about {UFO II}:
IA> It is interesting to know what in the subject determines the speed of passage of the whole
IA> games? I tried to start playing probably 10 times, and every time it was something or the other
IA> the study appeared earlier and sometimes later.
Here is the research tree - study it and you will understand everything :)
RSCH structure (4 bytes):
+0(BYTE) Nsbj - what item needs to be found/produced for
start of this study (0 - none)
+1(BYTE) Nrs - how many other studies need to be completed
to start this research (0 - not at all)
+2(WORD) link to the list of these studies, consisting of Nrs bytes (#0000 -
list is empty)
If all 4 bytes are zero - research has already been completed at the start of the game or
everything is ready to perform research at the beginning of the game...

That is the order of research very much depends on what you
you will capture/pick up/take prisoner, and also on what kind of research you have already
completed..
Using the research tree it is much easier to play - you can see what you need
do to get the research you need..
Unfortunately, the appearance of aliens with the necessary specialties (to capture them in
captivity) - is largely determined by fortune..
Warm greetings, Slava!
