Simple (repeat letter)

From Aleksey Senilov To All 29 November 2001

Hello to you, All! Apparently, the first three times (!!!) the letter did not reach anyone, so I repeat it. I’ll just add that I already have both a server and a client. So, I have complete rules for the subject, and there will also be server programs soon and the client. For those who don't know, this is PBM (or PBEM) Fantasy WarGame for 8 players. The only pity is that the rules are in English... As I understand it, the action takes place on a field of 25*25 cells, on which there is landscape and so on. There are all sorts of buildings, combat units, magic... Distantly similar to King's Bounty. Please note, this is WarGame, not an RPG, so the main thing in it is war. Epigraph (translation by Socrates97, plus my small corrections): It had to be _simple, exciting, fast and energetic_ - it was initial ideas for the development of Simple. _Simple_ means that the rules of the game should be easy to understand. _Exciting_ means that the game, using the rules to their fullest potential, there is a real challenge for each of the 8 competitors. In other words: the rules are easy are understandable, but to play well or even win, you are forced to use your whole brain. Finally, _fast_ and _energetic_ simply means that Simple is defined as a game that can be quickly developed. There are many involved in the fight and many ways to show your enemies the way they are to you - or cry bitterly if they are not as nice to you as you expected them to be (youdid they really expect that?). If there are anyone interested here, as well as English experts, we can try it! The rules in the archive are 127K, although they are in Winword format (not Spec). All the best! Boh/Image Crew was with you.
