Hello, All Hello dear forum users, maybe someone can help me with my problem. Around 1995-96 there were games with Russified versions on tape where loading the boot loader it was written St. Petersburg 1995. There were games for for example AtomAnt which loaded at the bottom with a counter. I would like it in tap or tzx format can be found somewhere. And also interested in system programs in disk version, which is not available on the Internet. I want to put together what happened before I had it and more. If anyone needs, I can post all the collections that I have and maybe for someone else I'll need something, but I'll be transferring it to tzx or tap in a week two, about 150 cassettes, and about 200 disks. At the same time, I’d like to ask which one format is preferable. There is a problem, in tzx I can’t rip out unnecessary files, which came during translation from a ready-made file, and in the navigator you can tap open and what needs to be redone! It’s just that everything that is on the world of spectrum is, so to speak, original, and out of good old memory, I want to restore the old versions that we had me before with exactly the same boot sequence and the same version, not It’s good to disappear, otherwise in another ten years everything will be worn out and no one will remember about this. I myself have DVD Virtual Tr-dos and Pilowar 2003, but I haven’t found what I need. It is difficult, however, with system software. To transfer all the goods I bought myselfPentagon 128, 5.25 and 3.5 inches from PC AND WITH THE HELP OF JUMPERS EVERYTHING IS CORRECT PICKED UP AND NOW The 5-inch PC drive reads perfectly, can’t compare with EU, I transfer it through a 3.5 drive so as not to suffer with the connection. One more question. Not a single emulator and not a single disk image standard can read several discs with protection, but I would really like to have them in my collection as a tribute to the past. Is there really no way to do it in the emulator (I use Unreal 0.34b) support for FDA 6.1 image and there probably won’t be any problems.. or am I wrong?

Hello Vitron Have you tried the FDI floppy disk format? UKV emulator...

Hello Vitron make an image on a TV disc and post it here. maybe it's due to emulation inaccuracies, but out of character

Hello TomCaT I've tried all types of image creation, most likely used an intersectoral gap in protection that is poorly copied into the image and does nothing do. When copying on a real Spectrum, copy floppy disks, when starting boot a reset occurs and this continues until I press reset myself, the same thing occurs when using all types created by different programs, The images in emulators are also of different types. And there's nothing you can do about it. McDonaldCopy 2.8 perfectly makes copies of protected disks, with 100% copies working, but only on the real Spectrum. Also does FDA 6.1 and copies again But on the real Spectrum they work, what is this?... a flaw in the controller emulation VG93 or because such modes are unnecessary, the image format itself ignores this. I I searched all the forums, they say that everything is due to the “wrong controller” on PC, that VG manages to do everything as it should and this used to be a standard at Spectrum, but not PC, but the FDA copies it normally!

Vit> That's right, but nostalgia gnaws at the old versions... Branded almost all of them are already available, and those versions that we all adapted for disk are no longer available find... I went through my tapes again, and counted everything I could in tzx, posted the most remarkable versions on my zx-hamster: http://213.247.193.24/cracks.htm

Hello Vitron I started translating cassette versions and have only translated one cassette so far. It took about two and a half hours. I used the Spectrum Tape loader program, I save it in tzx. MakeTzx does not recognize something well. It all depends on the level selection playback, the quality of the tape recorder and the quality of the tape itself. I tried three tape recorder, everything was read on one. Another cassette with high-quality recording doesn't want to load yet. But these are all little things and everything will be introduced over time. Himself the tape recorder works great through a UPS connected to a surge protector Vector. Otherwise, interference will confuse the data. As a last resort I'll use the real one Spectrum for translation. I can post a small catalog of Russian versions later post. As for Secure Disks, I have several of them. In your free time I’ll try to calculate it as I asked for SMT in the TV disk and post it, in case someone can tell me how to deal with this.

Well, if you remove it with a teledisk and they start up, then you don’t need to fight them :)

Hello Vitron More about system programs. Is it really that no one is interested in them? Maybe someone will respond and at least tell me where they can be found? I currently need a copier like TF-Copy 128, but to supported more than 128 kilobytes.

Hello Vitron Some of the copiers are on wos, but why more than 128k?
