Hello Harlequin
Arl> 1) Where are they now and what are they doing?
Arl> 2) Do they have jobs besides these two?
Arl> 3) Can you find out more about the history of this team?
Arl> 4) In "Operation RR" there is an open ending. Was there a sequel planned? in
Arl> what did it consist of? Were there any developments?
Arl> 5) How to pass the alarm in the "irons" (last level)
I'm from Galaxy, I participated in the creation of ORR. I answer:
1) In Gatchina, they are working =)
2) We can say that no - besides irons, orr and minifly, our musician Dexter
wrote music for a small 10x10 toy.
3) We all lived together in Gatchina, met at school. Cherepakhin wrote all sorts of
demos and mini-games, the rest got infected from it. That's the whole story =)
4) Operation RR was almost completed - but the people grew up, there was little time,
then everyone got pussies and the case died down. The third level is even possible
pass, only there are small glitches when switching characters. Level big
and quite complex. It’s a pity, of course, that they didn’t finish it, but what can you do...
5) I don’t remember. =)

RR is one of my favorite games on the ZX, although my friend and I didn’t finish the second level
were able to walk through until they found the description.

Hello Harlequin
So it's in the source code :)
Okay, when I have time, I’ll try to remember how to compile in Tasm, I’ll lead to
launched view. But I’ll warn you right away - there are a lot of shortcomings.
Or maybe someone will finish it? :)))))

Hello, Art-top
Damn, I wanted to post the third level of ORR, but either I’m stupid or whatever...
I click on “Manage attachments” - zero response.. What’s in Internet, what’s in Opera..
Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I don't have access?
P.S. If anyone needs it mega-urgently, I can send it by email, write your thoughts...

Hello new art
I have trd's in my pile.. :))) Just when at one time they distilled the source codes from
disks on a screw, they called it anyhow... now it’s such a mess, so far everything
you'll rake...

Hello new art
Gosh... it worked...
Well, in general... There are certainly a lot of imperfections...
P.S. Run like this: usr 0 in 128 bass, then randomize usr 15619: rem: run
"OPP3" or via the supplied boot...
P.P.S. Advice: don’t fall anywhere without a hippopotamus... it’s generally better not to go anywhere without it
It's a good idea, otherwise it's time to reset

Hello Tpyn
I'm an idiot, I'm a cretin, I'm a moron, I'm a dwarf-moron with large feet (c)... Well
that I shouldn’t have just run through the first 10 screens, but walked at least a little...
Although how can I remember that 5-7 years ago we introduced a new character
(which still needs to be done) to the middle of the map to test... In general
I apologize most savagely, after all, I haven’t been in prison for 5 years (look at the demos -
doesn't count)...
Later I’ll post the final version and leave... so as not to disgrace my
stupid Galaxy... (alcohol + PC = moron online... that's not what I mean
drunk, and besides, in the past it was necessary to hold on, then he would remember that two
bytes need to be replaced)

Hello Surfin' Bird
Of course, you can post the sources...
But is this necessary for anyone other than the two people who spoke in
last two posts?
"Beta version" (let's call it that, although it doesn't correspond to
in fact) was posted almost two months ago and not a single review.
So people didn't like it. And if you didn’t like it, then you don’t have to bring it to
finals. Logical? Logical!
Moreover, where can you find coders who will bring the toy up to standard? It is possible
of course, try yourself, but it will take a lot of time, starting from repeated
studying ZX-ASMA and ending with delving into the image compression algorithm and
remembering on which page and in what format the texts are stored... Time for
it's almost there.
So if there are people really interested in completing the project
- we’ll help in any way we can, and if they don’t find it, then OPP3 will never see white
light.
P.S. Many thanks to SVS for the link to the ORR map, it was very nice that even
they saw our toy over the hill :) Moreover, I climbed on this ftp and did not see 48
irons, which means our toy was more to the taste of our foreign comrades :)))

Everyone understands Beta in their own way. Moreover, it was presented as if it were there
to run from source codes, apparently this scared off many. Anyway what
does it bother you to just take and publish their sources? You don't have anything to lose,
It’s unlikely that you’ll finish it, but there’s at least some chance of it appearing.
For example, the authors of Alasm or the same ProTracker probably never even dreamed that
After almost 10 years, someone will breathe new life into their programs.
