Hello jim
Is it actually possible to create a MID or RMI player for a spec?
To play without converting. There really are little middlings.
Very common format...

Hello, research
The final result is very reminiscent of WHAM-128.
The classic sounds pretty good.

Hello jim
IMHO it is possible, but you will have to somehow cram 16 midish channels into 3 AY channels.
Options - or manually remove “insignificant” channels from the source MIDI
file, or at each moment of time select the 3 loudest channels and let
them in AY. Then it will turn out something like the Lunter emulator when playing AY
music through the speaker - sometimes not bad, but mostly terrible.

In 48 Wham, if memory serves, there were 2 channels that were output through
beeper Is it possible to mix two channels for each in a similar way?
AY channels?

What's the point?
It will still sound terrible and at the same time eat up all the resources of the processor.
Almost Digital, except that the volume is smaller.

Hello new art
In short, it’s easier to pick up everything you need by ear. Only ZX editors
I don't know :p

Hello Zhizh
1. Why by ear? We open the midi file in the music editor, it shows
notes.
2. Why ZX editors. I filled my demo with macros on Asma. Clumsy
sounds, but it’s unlikely that it would have worked out better with the ZX editor. See my demo with
source code in the thread about emulators (my EmuzWin).
And I was also interested: are there any AY editors with an interface on
PC. They make remakes of games. Why not make a remake of the AY truck
any. It would obviously be more convenient in Windows UI. (Dream: and so that everything at once
it was clear even to a non-pro like me, and there were pop-up tips everywhere,
explanations, all sorts of features - well, I don’t have the strength to read the documents, brothers, there are many more different ones
other things - I want to learn on the go).

Hello, Witch Doctor
"VTX, YM, etc" archive v1.1
Archive is dedicated to all
dump music formats for
AY-3-891x and YM2149 sound chips
Well, where is the tracker itself? (And he said: not “well documented”, but such,
which does not require documenting and reading a sea of documentation)

Hello, Vladimir Kladov
But of course! Bulba Sergey built VortexTracker - a great thing... and excellent
documented. In a word - “An Idiot’s Dream” :) very convenient.

Hello, Vladimir Kladov
The tracker itself is on bulba.at.kz... I didn’t think that anyone else didn’t know about VT. :)
