Hello, Alexander! Thu 11 Aug 2005 you wrote: AB> People, is there a subject in nature? And if there is, please url. Get a wav file from the Spectrum music module You can use Sergei Bulba's program "AY Emulator" (http://bulba.at.kz). And having a wav file, it’s not difficult to get an mp3. Best regards, Ivan Roshchin.

I haven't done any conversion to MIDI myself, so I can provide only theoretical considerations on this topic. It is possible Having a module in .pt3 format, first convert it to the format Impulse Tracker editor using my PT3_IT converter (you can download it from my web page), and then convert .it -> MIDI - I know two for this programs: 2MIDI (http://www.un4seen.com) and MODPlug Tracker (http://www.modplug.com). Of course, you will need tools choose yourself.I note that it is unlikely that it will be possible to achieve the same sound like on the Spectrum, especially for complex modules: The ways of sound formation in Spectrum are too different editors and in MIDI, also when converting .pt3 -> .it Some information is lost. If the source module is not in .pt3 format, but in the format any other Spectrum editor, you can convert it to .pt3 format using Vortex editor Tracker II (http://bulba.at.kz), and then proceed as described above.
