Hello Deniz
Despite all the advice given to me here, I of course got everything mixed up, and after the first
unsuccessful combination of connecting the Scorpion motherboard to the PC power supply
(black - yellow - red in various variations), tried 4 more times in
different combinations but without hope that it will work... :confused; But; at
another attempt (this time solely on the principle of trying out all possible
options) the LED lit up and the TR-DOS menu appeared on the screen: v2_clapp; .;
The pants were full of joy. So if anyone has a similar problem, don't worry.
worry - if there is a short-term incorrect connection, the drama will most likely not
will arise.
Afterwards I soldered what was needed and where it was needed, and so far, in a rather artisanal way
all the guts of Scorpion migrated to the old system unit from Pentium I.
The only confusion arose when installing the keyboard connector to the rear wall
system unit - upon contact with the housing, one of the
wiring in the harness from the keyboard (good thing I noticed it in time and turned it off
food). And the disk drive began to work even worse, perhaps because of a long break in work,
roofing felts because of the metal case of the system unit. I wonder if it's possible instead
should I connect an old 5.25' floppy drive from a PC?
