Hello, All Is there a diagram for connecting static memory to ATM Turbo instead of dynamics? I have 512K and 1M static RAM. How to pick up?

From SfS To All 15 January 2007

Hello, CHRV CHR> The scheme is not simple, but a minimum of additional hardware is needed: CHR> - registers on RAS/CAS for address latching; CHR> - busbars for separating the data bus from the mikruhi bus (the same as CHR> and for sims). In my opinion, only the RAS register is needed. And according to CAS there is a selection and an address to the remaining outputs are fed directly. Or not ? Why tire workers? The third state of the memory itself will not work?

Hello, SfS SfS> Why tire manufacturers? The third state of the memory itself will not work? RU5 RU7 have separate inputs and outputs. There are schemes in which the input and the output is wired together, a busbar is not needed there, but there are circuits in which the input and the output is used separately, such as ATM for example... On CAS indeed you don't have to install tires...

Hello, CHRV CHR> The fact is that the design of the board produced was already from 1995. Of course in CHR> in the new version it will be and in general everything will be different :). That's just it CHR> when. CHR> If you want, I can correct the old design - correct errors, unnecessary CHR> throw away (ADC all sorts of things). Well, this will cost me time. Sources CHR> I have and PCAD4.5 is there. No, I'm not talking about that. I'm purely THEORETICALLY. Is it possible to insert a SIM? Let's call them by their proper names - to farm in simmono? :v2_wink2:

Hello, CHRV CHR> If it is purely 16bit, then it will not work (but preliminary reading of the word CHR> do, followed by byte replacement). CHR> But specifically, the above-mentioned mikruhi selects a byte using the CAS signal CHR> is done - it’s simpler here, but it’s also a mess, although it’s easier for ATM. What if you don’t parizzo and introduce a sim? Rum is this option possible? By the way, if you can’t find RU7, then 41256 is still a lot where you can pick it up. Let's say in the same ancient pussies. Yes, and they are available in stores.

Hello icebear ice> You can use 16 bits, but the circuit will be larger than for ice> 8-bit statics. If it’s purely 16bit, then it won’t work (you need to do preliminary reading of the word, with subsequent byte replacement). But specifically for the above-mentioned mikruhi, the byte selection is done by the CAS signal - here simpler, but still a hassle, although it’s easier for ATM.

Hello, CHRV > I have a dynamic HM514260 = 256k x 16bit. I've been digging a bit about something like this. There seem to be separate cases, i.e. in theory You can parallelize the SD. ice> And in the new version will you continue to use DRAM or will you switch to ice> SRAM? After all, 512Kx8 are cheap now, and even more so with your contacts. 512k is not enough, and 2mb is expensive. although I agree that dram is now only in the trash remained Mik> Is it possible to insert a SIM? Mik> Let's call them by their proper names - collect farms in simmonno? two 30pin or one 72pin. no problem
