I only came across one (from an ancient cash register). In stores and
on antique motherboards I see only PDIP (narrow bodies, like pop ones
small circuit diagrams). I see even more planar on any scrap (we're talking about SRAM
256KBIT).
In general, the question is what is easier for you to find, and is it a problem when
available DIP (SRAM 256KBIT) find PDIP (because I want to get rid of wiring for DIP
(in favor of PDIP), it comes out very bold).

Yes, there are fast ones in a wide body and slow ones in a narrow body, you don’t have to look at
width of the case and on the markings.

wide are CMOS, and narrow are nMOS. If so, then some can be used with autonomous

The board is made using retro technology, that’s why the details are like this :).

bought (in this store http://www.itis.spb.ru/CATSHORT.HTM) 4 pieces
AS7C4096-15 SRAM 512 KB in SOJ36 (in principle, you can solder it with wires) for
upgrading your Scorpio.
And on the topic, I saw a lot of winbond and ISSI in narrow dip cases on 486 boards (on
they made a cache), on the stumps there were microcircuits in a tqfp package as a cache
(planars with pins on 4 sides), P2 and slot P3 also had these, only
inside the cartridge.

You can buy a Samsung in a BGA case and solder it using a home-grown method.
I saw this method on some site:
take a board on which a round contact is made for each BGA leg
platform with a through hole (with metallization, 2-sided board, Soviet type
dummies), then a microcircuit in a BGA package is placed on top, a board is placed below
heated with a hair dryer (air flow through the holes melts well
balls), after which everything is soldered from below with ordinary wires.

Can you remember any other names of statics in the range 128k-512k?
((I didn’t find anything on eroglephs 62306 / 62308))
It turns out that it’s easier to put a whole 256KBIT battery in PDIP: D and rip it out
from where and in any bakery it is sold :D
