Hello, All
I “accidentally” came across a photo of the mother of a Sprinter 2000 (not really
high quality, but still). And what do I see - there is Altera ACEX there? Is that so? A
What kind of ACEX is this then? I just have Sp97, and there is FLEX.

Hello, CHRV
CHR> ACEX 1K: EP1K30
What did they put in those 30 thousand ventels??? There's nothing like that there
a particularly resource-intensive one was added compared to Sp97.
CHR> By the way, click on your board, otherwise I have bare boards from SP97
CHR> I want to compare!
No question. By the way, these boards can be classified in the same way as Scorpio boards
- yellow and green :)

Hello icebear
AY was already there as an alter, by the way.

We left a place for developers so that they could assemble hardware there
3D accelerator, DMA controller, custom sound synthesizer, AY, bulk
any spec, and anything else that comes to mind.

Hello, CHRV
CHR> If you mean some kind of demos, then they exist...
CHR> I haven’t seen the accelerator and most likely it doesn’t exist because it won’t fit
CHR> he's in an alter of this size no matter what :). Although what is implied
CHR> under 3D acceleration specifically by you? What are 3D operations?
CHR>
Of course, I won’t say for sure, but it was precisely the construction of a 3D model in real life.
time, no textures, only polygons filled with one color. Detail of course
It wasn’t like in Doom 3, but it was still entertaining. You most likely have one
demo, there are various objects rotating along an axis. There was some kind of house there...
CHR> And pre-rendered graphics (FLIC from 3DStudio 4.0) SPrinter
CHR> played great. Maybe you saw this?
CHR>
Of course not, anyone can tell the difference.
CHR> In general, let the IMac respond.
CHR>
Does he ever come here?

Hello, CHRV
CHR> I’ll say more, I even seem to have the source code... Anton Enin is all for me
CHR> I gave away my sources.
CHR> There seems to be nothing used except the video accelerator - table
CHR> there are sines. We multiply the points by sines and fill in, reduce the percentage
CHR> is enough.
CHR> If interested, write to me. If I find it, I'll send you the source.
Is there really enough speed?
I'm afraid the source won't tell me much, because I'm not a great coder, I'm more of a
music :)

Hello, CHRV
CHR> A video accelerator appeared there, buffered by Kovox. Mixed
CHR> video modes.
CHR> Well, IMac also experimented with putting fortprocessors in there and
CHR> video acceleration (stretching textures onto flat images - demo
CHR> DOOM2).
CHR> Thunder of the Deep also uses a cool scroller and
CHR> sprite acceleration!
CHR> That is. in principle, if IMac would make a template for Altera (why is he so
CHR> and didn’t) programmers could sharpen the hardware to their needs.
CHR> On my website there is a version of the Treasure for Sprinter, though only for
CHR> 2000 and only for real (it will not work on the Shaos emulator).
A hardware 3D accelerator was also made. This is a FULL FULL 3D accelerator.
Not too fancy but real. I saw with my own eyes, just like
everything else. And this is still on the old SP97.

CHR> There is a 14 MHz quartz that croaks at a frequency of 140 MHz.
Is this possible? I wonder what harmonica he croaks on?

Hello icebear
ice> OPERATIVE, respect, thank you :v2_jawdr: :v2_cheer:
ice>
ice> So there is no PLL there :v2_cry:
There is a 14 MHz quartz that croaks at a frequency of 140 MHz. Moreover, Imac did
a special stand to test quartz - not all are suitable.

Hello Costa
Cos> Is this possible? I wonder what harmonica he croaks on?
Look at the diagram and the collection with FIDO that I threw into the Sprinter topic.
There Imak answered exactly this question.
