Report on the receipt of Pentagon-1024SL ver 2.2
The board is well made. Only soldering m/sx memory on a 30 pin SIM looks like
“makeshift”, as if soldered by hand. :o
The Nemov IDE controller looks good and fits the slot.
There is a 34-pin “cut in half” cable from the drive that is used for
board connections.
The board's power supply is in AT format, no questions asked.
I was surprised that the ordered cable for the 3.5-5.25 drive about which was not found
mentioned separately in the order. :|
The ROM from the board was read by the programmer and, for fun, looked through f3 in
Commander, Sinclair's mark and error message texts found
BASIC-48. :)
After connecting the board, the reporting will continue. :v2_tong2:
