From Grigory Alekseevich Sinitsky → To All 28 February 2007
Hello, WingLion
So, I temporarily blocked out SCART after making sure that the Pentagon was showing the initial menu
normal and troubles in the monitor. Slowly I continue to unsolder all sorts of external things.
I won’t solder the keyboard-joystick, thanks to the ZX MC, but here’s the rest
I'll slowly solder it slowly.
For this reason, today I bought 2 34-pin floppy drive cables and put them into
the case was cut off according to the “twist”. They are longer than those included and therefore more convenient.
I soldered a RESET button, soldered RGB + SYNC for the monitor, to one of the “pairs” +
5V-GND hung a red LED to indicate power.
Questions regarding further wiring of everything:
Connector X3;
A); What type of speaker is the "Speaker" and its second pin is soldered to GND or where?
b) next to the wires “R-G-B”, “SYNC”, “VIDEO” there are two wires “LEFT” and
"RIGHT". What is inferred from them?
And what is output by "S_LEFT" and "S_RIGHT"?
Next, after a pair of “Speaker” pins, come the LPT port wires. Everything is clear here.
Connector X4;
A); where and how are “Magic0” and “Magic1” soldered?
Besides “Magic” and “Reset”, are there only keyboard-joystick(s)?
