From Alexandr Kushnikov To Konstantin Butorin 15 June 2002

Greetings, Konstantin Tue 11 Jun 2002 at 09:29:08 Konstantin Butorin -> Sergei Chikalev on the topic RAM extension for Scorpio KB> I had 2 KB> controller - by NEMO & by SCORPION - neither one of me KB> was fine. From Nemo - working under ISdos was killing me, from KB> scorpion - You sit permanently in a shady camp... PC in this KB> is better... I have been using an excellent commander for Scorpio with a propeller for 3 years now. It's called HDDCOMMANDER v1.2f CREATED BY LIGHT OF D.C.G. It has 5 panels. 4 panels for all disks, the fifth for service information. Allows you to switch sections and discs for each disc, play music, read texts, watch pictures, search file by mask and other functions. At the bottom it displays the EPROM version and time with CMOS on SMUC. I set it to boot on startup computer. In short, extremely convenient. KB> And the card is cool! Inserted, downloaded, removed, went KB> copy the following thread from someone... It’s not for nothing that earlier KB> there were speck cartridges - we need to revive the past ;) Yes, it’s convenient, but few people will want to redo their computer. Best regards, Alexander Kushnikov aka Sander.

From Vlad Sotnikov To Konstantin Butorin 26 June 2002

Hello Konstantin! June 23, 2002 (it was 11:42 pm then) Konstantin Butorin in his letter to Vlad Sotnikov wrote: VS>> I suggest the commander write one that only works with the screw VS>> will be, and I'm in ZXNET.SOFT with tomatoes, the owners of the flops VS>> abandoned... KB> Where will it load from? and information exchange? It will boot only from a screw from its own working partition. This is where the swap will take place. And modules/overlays will be loaded from there. And what carriers it will understand - this will depend on the individual overlay device driver, which can always be attached to the commander. In general, rulez! But! I'm not writing this at all! Otherwise they will start bombarding me with questions: when, when... :) Vega/ex-Style Group.
