Hello, All
2 Maxagor, CHRV:
Guys, how many computers/sets do you manage to sell in a year? Just
I wonder how willing people are to buy such computers now. And
Do young radio amateurs (schoolchildren,
students)? And what is the trend in the last two years?
Thank you in advance for your answers and don’t think that I’m counting money in someone else’s pocket,
just after visiting several Spectrum sites there was hope that
amateur radio and creativity in our country have not yet been completely destroyed
liberalism and globalization.
I myself spent my childhood in the Yamaha MSX-2 classes (although not Spectrum, but also
not a bad computer on the Z80 :-) ). And now, under the influence of another attack
out of nostalgia, a crazy idea arose to develop a complete analogue of the MSX-2 on
modern components, using FPGA and DSP (on one DSP make
video and audio processors). Set the native processor to 3.5 MHz. Construction
It will be very compact and easy to assemble at home.
The only sales method that seems to me is a kit for
self-assembled by radio amateurs. It can give a second life to old and
simple computers on the Z80, such as MSX and ZX-Spectrum. After all, children need something
study, don’t start with P4.
For example, the company MASTER KIT quite successfully sells various kits forRadio amateurs, maybe this idea will work with computers?

WHERE IS IT? Please post the link. And what do you mean by chipset?
I can’t tell you anything about the cassette interface, I haven’t worked with it, but that’s it
You can see this in the BIOS.

for some reason he is embarrassed to see himself in the table.
There are three kit options:
1) bare board, HL8
2) assembled board
3) designer for assembly (all necessary parts included)

And by the way, here’s a quick question - on what port does “CASSETTE INTERFACE” sit and on
what bits are decrypted?

Very few.
The modern direction of government politicians and the media are aimed at ensuring that young people
indulged in entertainment rather than scientific and technical creativity. :(

Well, by and large, how can you attract them? Not even fully worked out
the problem of using a CD-ROM, not to mention other devices/systems (LAN,
Net). And this problem is both hardware and software. There are only a few people who are interested
people, but when the question comes to using such elementary (for others
platforms) things, then they have nothing to promise.
On the other hand, even if interested young people appear, it is not always
they have the opportunity to purchase a computer designer, that is, they also need
and the interest of the “sponsor” - the parent. About children with fancy mobile phones
there is no question, they are not familiar with the spirit of creativity.

spensor
Why do you need a network at home? This is a gaming and educational computer, nothing more. Not
Go to the Internet with it. Here's to cram all the loose stuff like 155LH1 into a small one
PLISINA would be useful. The board looks very old-fashioned. And pay 3000
rubles for a gift to a child, most parents can probably now, if it
not some kind of drunks.

They can, but the question is precisely that the desire of the “youth” is not enough here, it is necessary

Agreeing with CHRV, I will say that here we must be guided by one
principle. Which one? That’s how much screaming, drooling and grumbling there was at all times
they say that Speck has the wrong graphics and the sound is not the same and there is no screw and there is no product, etc., etc.
It’s a blessing that new pieces of hardware are appearing through joint efforts, look no further than TS and FM
and Multicard and watch and screw and even CD. why not a distant chip
V9990, what an interesting device and a lot of possibilities. And most importantly, what makes it different
it’s different from other solutions for improving graphics, so you don’t have to go into the computer and
what should I change because it still won’t work out radically as the circuit design
Everyone is different, and I’m generally silent about PLMs. But here it’s either in the slot or if
there is no such thing, just carefully wire it to the legs of the processor. Yes, and something can be done
do it in simple ways and then increase the graphic/color resolution and from
This is of little use because I can write a normal game for this at a processor speed of 3.5 MHzis fraught with terrible brakes, and unfortunately you won’t be able to do something similar to the V9990, and you won’t be able to
Why? But the principle is the same, you asked, so you get it, but what about the software? It’s all in ours
In any case, it certainly won’t appear in your hands without a piece of hardware. And
why are we worse than the same bourgeoisie, they also make all sorts of devices for spec and
the same MSX. In any case, it’s encouraging that all the niches are slowly being filled
which, for a number of reasons, were not offered by manufacturers of bygone times. And who
now except for us (the spektrumist community)? Wait until Uncle Zonov comes and
will he do everything for us? Mmm, unlikely...

This means that not everything has been downloaded, AlteraOR FLEX eroglephs are drawn on one page
10k30AQC240-3
In the v9938.acf files it is drawn -
CHIP v9938
BEGIN
FLEX_CONFIGURATION_EPROM = EPC2LC20;
DEVICE = EPF10K30AQC240-3;
However, if the source code is available, this is not critical.
You can try to translate through http://babelfish.altavista.com/, but
slow sites don’t want to be translated... The main thing is to change the log to translate, otherwise
It’s not clear at what stage the project stalled.
By the way, it also seems like some kind of VDP -
