As for disk drives, it’s not even the other way around. At least work with
"quick heads" is a pleasure. For discs this is "on the drum"

It all depends on what you have on hand. If Pent is one thing, if the other is a clone
(socrpion turbo plus?), then something else. I did everything on my Leningrad-2
disk drive controller according to the Nemo scheme (published in Radioluitel in 1995)
and it's worth it. In principle, what is called Turbo-VG is just a circuit
supplying double frequency to the VG when the drive heads move.
