And based on this, first decide: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO PROTECT?
If the computer needs work (this is done with the third wire from the shield to
housing or metal parts of the device/machine/engine.

useful - they send earth along the working ground (from the main switchboard to the shields) How do you do this?

Naive young man... The cable cross-section is calculated not from the _maximum_ but from
average permissible load on the wires. Voltage drop on the zero bus
there is also. And if you freeze in the evening, when the whole company
heaters/stoves/washers will turn on, the difference between the zero bus and the real one
grounding... You may be unpleasantly surprised.
On the other hand..- it’s important for you _not to experience the potential difference_ between
the power of the computer/equipment and other “source of the earth”. That is, if you fill up
case, then on it, with the total load at zero, a certain potential is formed, andit will definitely not be on the building structures - so we get that if you
you're sitting on the heating radiator and grab the computer - pull, it doesn't really pull, but the volts
10-20 will be on you (through you :) This is not scary IMHO. HO! neutral wires
have the property of _burning_ off the busbar in the main switchboard, and if the local electrician instead of the T.O.

And if we’re talking about constant interference, then the coolest thing is thyristor
regulators. High-frequency interference/sag on _each_ half of the sinusoid
networks (100Hz)
