Hello, All
I bought it, as usual, on eBay :) A childhood dream, tskt, it’s true. Rubber
buttons and all that.
So I would like to build an attachment for it for fast (very fast) loading
snapshots, because loading from the tape is, of course, nostalgic, but time
shortage
Are there any ready-made solutions in nature that fit into his famous slot, or

So no soldering is required there. In issue 2 there are 8 panels, I stuffed them into them

There is no need to touch the board (I hope).
(Actually, I’m a little annoyed - I thought I was buying 48K, but I arrived like this

Yes, I was here too. While you don’t want to cut or solder something in the original
gland - I'll try the composite first, especially since I only have on TV
it is (and in another SCART, but it is unclear whether S-Video can be installed in that SCART).

Hello, tnt23
As it turned out, it is actually not 48K, but 16K, but issue 2. To
to upgrade to 48K, you need to deliver 4 logic packages and 8 memory packages.
Is it possible to install 4164 (or 565RU5G) instead of the 4532 recommended by the datasheet?

Judging by the diagram, this is the input signal of the TV modulator.
You can try to connect, just pay attention to the board
There is a jumper (judging again from the diagram) marked “VID”.
The jumper must be soldered.

I soldered the jumper just in case, but before fencing the connector, I want to
understand:
- is any capacitor needed on this line between the spec and the TV?
- the output stage from which this signal is removed (and fed to the modulator),
is an emitter follower loaded with a 360 ohm resistor. Is it necessary
Should I change this resistor to 75 ohm?

This cool rarity can always be returned to the 16K version. Popped in today
"Chip and deep", bought four cases of multiplexers and logic, then fumbled in
in the box there is a package with old 565RU5, I stuffed it into the panels and trudged along :) That is, not yet
I’m really struggling, it doesn’t work very well with the modulator, but realizing 48K is all
easier.
And the picture - well, you can’t show such pictures at night, especially monochrome ones

Yes, almost one to one.
I added a transistor cascade between the spec and the TV, like the bourgeois in the link (only
I didn’t have BC557, I dug up BC337), it became better with brightness and colors
a little. At least the yellow one looks like yellow :v2_wink2;
By; Ideally, you should take an oscilloscope and crawl around the board, see where each
cases interfere with power supply.
fan> Have you tried to upload "turbo dumps x4" to MP3?
No, for now only regular mp3s. I tried to convert Hyper Activ to turbo -

From a resistor matrix? In principle, that part could also be improved by
power (as in Atari super video mods), but the main noise probably comes from the memory and
another figure, so that’s where you need to look. My friend has two air conditioners -
one somewhere in the area of the input jack (9V?), the second on the chip that deals with
color generation. Not enough :v2_conf3;
fan>; Try increasing the volume a little, it should help.
The volume level in my player is at the limit. But a strange thing: it started to load
Hyper Active in turbo mode (less than a minute really!) after I
I re-compressed it to 320Kbps and played with the codec settings.
In general, pure alchemy :v2_biggr:

Hello fan
fan> Uh-huh .
I built some kind of Interface II from a piece of mole rat and two connectors :) removed
composite signal - yes. That is, noticeably better than through the antenna input, but
still depressing.
In between, I use an 80mm disc player to load CD/MP3 :) To disk
fits approximately 180M, a typical 48K game, compressed at 320Kbps, takes 9-10M.
