One of the variations of “stitching” the remote control buttons with wire
TV "Horizon". It has not been tested on other models.

Designations in the figure:

1 - a layer of rubber that “fastens” all the buttons into a single block.
2 - corrugated rubber for a springy (tactile) effect.
3 - the surface of the button on which you press with your finger. :)
4 - layer of conductive rubber.
5 - bracket made of thin tinned wire.
6 - holes (two) for the bracket, made with a needle.
Holes are made in a layer of thin conductive rubbersewing needle to a depth of approximately 2.5-3 mm, moving away from the edges
The conductive “heel” is about 0.5-1 mm. No need to pierce
button through!
We make the bracket using tweezers from thin (0.2-0.4 mm) tinned
wires I used strands from stranded wire. It's necessary
accurately maintain the distance between the ends of the bracket, depending on
depends on the distance between pre-made holes in the rubber
buttons. For reliability/durability, it is desirable that the bracket
entered the rubber of the button to a depth of at least 2.5-3 mm. Bracket
installed in prepared holes using
tweezers.
