Hello, All Subject As you know, only 2 physical disk drives can be connected to Scorpios, because... it does not decrypt signals for sampling drives C and D. This is not difficult can be treated by installing one ID7 and a couple of wires. In general, that’s how I feel done. The task arose to install a professional ROM (I hope to have SMUC in the near future :)) I came across a problem - when installing Prof ROM, my C drives are cut off and D - writes No Disk and that’s it. I plug in a regular plug, everything is fine. I really, really don’t want to lose two disk drives. Where did the dog rummage? Help me with advice on how to make friends with physical drives C, D and Prof ROM. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Evgeny Muchkin Ah! Got it :) In SMUCse, bits 6 and 7 work as they should, but 3 and 5 are clean stray due to the increase in SE. I just figured: The person on the scorp has 4 real flops => that means he has it done on his board modification => it means most likely he did it himself => he knows how to hold a soldering iron :) => having a simple modification scheme for SMUC, it will be able to add a couple of cases to it. :) But in this situation, reworking the ROM becomes a more realistic matter than now.

Hello, Evgeny Muchkin I was thinking... why really smoke the iron part of the relish?? Isn't it easier to just correct the RST 8 procedure; db; #81 ? When it determines (somehow it does) that drives C and D are not mounted, then the transition to the No Disk message should be displayed. What if instead of this transition we make jp to LAB_1FEB, and let it be TR-DOS understands whether there is a disk in the drive or not. What do you think?
