Problems formatting disks — ZXNet «hardware.zx»

Hello, All A disk formatted in real (Pentagon-1024SL, 3.5" drive) is not readable PC utilities (tried Hobeta, AMD Copier and SN). At the same time, the real reads/writes it calmly. Disk formatted on PC (using hofrmt35 or zxform) is equally readable on both the PC and the Pentagon. What are possible reasons?

What are the possible reasons? The reason is very simple, on the PC controller when formatting between the beginning disk and the first sector there is a gap called GAP. ZX controller it does not form. To read disks from ZX you need to use utilities that can read from "overlapping" the end of the track, ReadTRD from the ESN 1.14 kit seems to do this can.

Hello, CHRV My last purchase (new) was a Teac, and before it there were several Sonys, not all I’m happy (I even changed the teak, the lining was knocked down, and the other teak had problems read-write).
