Hello KingOfEvil Kin> Unless I scratch it out of a blank Not all blanks are equally reliable!!

From Orionsoft To All 25 July 2006

Hello KingOfEvil Kin> Maybe we should stop here? just don't erase the files

From Chunin Roman To All 25 July 2006

Hello, The Exploited Lesha, send me the files if I can post them on my website (otherwise narod.ru unpredictable and slow). And my site is more popular. Take a photo then if it's easy. The> 1. take a survey - right here The> 2. work on prepayment PO 1 - the survey is a bogus and shows nothing! I remember we did a survey, so Of the 20 surveyed, only three actually ordered. Software 2 - and there is no other way to work. The question is what to order boards and buying parts are quite expensive operations, and with a quantity of 5 pieces - this is unprofitable for the manufacturer (i.e., he essentially gives you in addition something). For example, I have a batch of boards of at least twenty pieces, with a smaller quantity work at a loss at my prices.

From Mark Antonov To All 25 July 2006

Hello KingOfEvil 1. take a survey - right here 2. work on prepayment where can I look at the specification of the subject?

From Zhabin Alexey To All 25 July 2006

Hello, The Exploited The> 1. take a survey - right here The> 2. work on prepayment The> where can I look at the specification of the subject? The specification is right on this forum. In the Pentagon-1024SL and ANT-1024HD themes.

Hello, CHRV CHR> Lesha, send me the files if I can post them on my website (otherwise CHR> narod.ru unpredictable and slow). Yes, and I have a website CHR> more twisted. CHR> I'm more interested in the production issue. There are no difficulties with storing files arises. And what’s the point of posting documentation on the site (besides TECHNOLOGICAL documentation, i.e. documentation required for production tasks; there is no other one yet. If the circuit and board layout still you can figure it out, then no one except me has access to the sources of FPGA firmware He will figure it out, but he won’t figure it out. I'm sure of this) if there is no production? What good will it do? But in case I finally decide to refuse further development of the project, then all existing documentation will be posted for free use.

From Zhabin Alexey To All 25 July 2006

Hello, All The question I asked myself was whether to order production of a new set of Pentagon-1024SL ver 2.0 boards (based on FPGA). Now everything is somehow in limbo, 2 copies of the new one have been collected boards and there is one more unfinished one. To be honest, there is a great desire to tinker I don’t have any boards now, but it may appear if there are orders. Otherwise, there is little point in organizing production. However, reality such is that over the past six months I have completed only 3 assembly orders computers and one order for the supply of a blank circuit board. The problem is that when With such order dynamics, production does not even reach the level of self-sufficiency. This explains my doubts about the further success of the project. At the same time time, I satisfied my creative interests by bringing the new version of the board to state of a finished and functional product. Maybe it's worth it stop? :v2_conf3:

From Victor Ronin To All 25 July 2006

Hello fan Well, the price purely technologically will be in the range of about 100 $/eur. less - It won’t work, more - there will be cries of “oh dear, better pts.” of course, unless the Pentagon adds a turbo mode of at least 7 MHz - values there will be little in it. Well, it’s time to install the on-board IDE. and all sorts of other little things.

From Vadim Orekhov To All 26 July 2006

Hello KingOfEvil I think it should be released!!! When I went to Maxagor to pick up a construction set Turbo2+, expressed hope that the Pentagon1024SL clone of the 2nd version will see the light of day in mass quantity. Buy - I will buy if the cost is up to 100 USD. Kin> ...but it may appear if there are orders. Otherwise there is no big Kin> makes sense to organize production. Orders, I think, will come when there is appropriate advertising - like Romana on the website (photos, description of capabilities, various delivery options - bare board, designer, assembled, assembled in a case). I think it's worth it will agree to a subdomain from NedoPC - the resource is quite promoted, and in general producers need to stick together (at least virtually!). Although the situation is generally strange - a lot of people want to have an iron Speckies, many people want to buy old hardware at a high price, and even repair it, and when a person, having spent a lot of knowledge, time and effort, is ready to start serial production of a new, fairly promoted clone - so few positive reviews!!! Alexey - I wish you success in Specostroying, don’t stop halfway! I hope your Spec will be in demand not only among us, but also abroad!!!!:v2_clapp:

From Roman Borokhov To All 26 July 2006

Hello, Ovvnex I support! Pentagon-1024 to come! I'm planning to buy v 2.0, if the price is not too high will increase compared to the previous one (v 1.4, unfortunately, has not yet arrived - We're waiting... :|) The project attracts with its minimalistic extensions of the original architecture (as opposed to the "sophisticated" ATM 2+) - exclusively from my own preferences. :)

From Vadim Orekhov To All 26 July 2006

Hello KingOfEvil Kin> Of those who “want”, only 10% place orders (I didn’t come up with this number Kin> took it, simply divided the number of computers ordered from me by the total Kin> number of people with whom he corresponded). But just now I was looking for all sorts of information on Pentagon128 1991 (I got a board without the main microchips and edges). I also found a lot on your site! And on the Internet on various forums there are many announcements about desire to buy Specki (often very expensive)! I propose to the forum members united efforts to post advertisements for both ATM boards and Pentagon 1024 on all these forums, links to sites! I think there will be more people on the forum, and Alexey will have clients and Roman!!! Alekseenko should know especially many such forums!!!! ;-) He's in I mentioned this in some post! There is also no time to write detailed documentation, because... I have in addition to the Pentagon, there are 2 more equally interesting projects, and in addition I have to combine work and study at the institute. At one time I even suggested people wanted to take part in the development of the project, but no one wanted to. As for the fact that many people want to have a real spec, this is delusion. Of those who “want” to place orders, only 10% (I don’t know this number) I took the ceiling and simply divided the number of computers ordered from me by the total number of people with whom he corresponded). Hello KingOfEvil I looked at the CSP'2006 collection... There were about 20 people. According to the “experienced”, there will be up to 50 in total... And how many of them need real money? And Novosibirsk is not the smallest city... Here is the answer - “the new board is destined to remain in 3 copies”

From Vadim Orekhov To All 30 July 2006

Hello KingOfEvil Kin> Apparently, the new board is destined to remain in 3 copies It's a pity! Seriously, it's a shame! (((In my opinion, work of such volume should not go to waste (or end up with only three copies of the scarf)! A counter question - is it possible to purchase one of these three assembled boards, and if possible, then for how much?

From Zhabin Alexey To All 2 August 2006

Hello, Ovvnex Ovv> Sorry! Seriously, it's a shame! (((In my opinion, work of this volume Ovv> should not go to waste (or remain in only three copies Ovv> scarf)! Ovv> Ovv> Counter question - can you use one of these three assembled boards - Ovv> purchase, and if possible, for how much? The situation with the new boards is this: there are 3 of them in total, now 2 have been assembled and one is in process. These boards were initially planned as experimental ones and were not made for production to order, but rather to satisfy my creative interests. I I decided to keep 2 boards for my needs (one for work, the other for experiments), also I wanted to give one to Dima Bystrov for testing, but for some reason he’s in no hurry to get it pick up, says that he is busy connecting ATM-Turbo. After which I was going re-order the boards. However, now I have doubts about the expediency of such a development of events. I still have problems with the availability of free time. In the fall my workload will be such that I will be able to collect not more than 1 fee per month (at best). Now, if only there was a person who could at least get him drunk (and even better, configure) boards, things would go much more energetically, of course, provided thatorders for boards will arrive more or less regularly. Otherwise there's simply no point start it all again. In reality, you need to make at least five boards, and even better, 10 - 15, but given the current dynamics of orders, 15 boards will diverge somewhere two or three years, and this is a completely unsatisfactory time frame for me, because... I have to pay for the production immediately, in a very short time, and then wait 2-3 years until the invested money (considerable, by the way) is returned, and even without any guarantees that they will return.

From ASDT To All 3 August 2006

From Alexander Shushkov To All 4 August 2006

Hello, Ovvnex And I would take a fully assembled computer. By yourself, no matter how it is interesting, can't handle it. Let's better calculate how many potential candidates there are for purchase new computer...

From Vadim Orekhov To All 4 August 2006

Hello demon_zx I'm joining!!!:v2_cheer; Think,; the most optimal distribution option for Pentagon 1024 SL v2.1 is bare board, with soldered BGA sockets and flashed ROM and FPGA included! The rest of the mikruhi, as I understand it, are standard - you can buy them locally radio markets. But Alexey is freed from long-term assembly and adjustment boards, and the user gets the awesome thrill of self-assembling Specky! I'm currently soldering ATM Turbo2+ v. 7.10 (work is slowly but surely approaching completion) and I get immeasurable pleasure from it. So Lesh, please consider this way of selling Penta. Just knowing that such a machine was created and not being able to purchase it, it’s a wolf I want to howl!!! A cult machine, on a modern element base - this is super! Want! (in general, I am collecting a collection of the most famous Specs - there are already Pros 3 and 5 versions, Pentagon 48 and 128, ATM Turbo2+ - I really want to have it Pentagon 1024 SL v2.1. Here.)

From Vadim Orekhov To All 24 August 2006

And the software and data that I received on disks, beyond all expectations! I've been hunting for a lot of things for a long time, but here it's all on two discs! This alone made it worth ordering. Now I'm collecting the rest of the parts and I'll start soldering soon!!!! Thank you so much!!!! I believe in the future of Pentagon-1024 SL ver 2.1!
