Hello andrews
I have no doubt that this will be very useful for someone, but I’m afraid that the target
the audience here is somewhat different, and the application is very narrow - limited, judging by
all over a specific player. If this kind of management is the standard for everyone
players, then perhaps a player as an external gadget for the ZX will be interesting.

As I understand it, it is proposed to use the ZX as a control panel with
software interface for selecting audio tracks on the player, while the player plays itself
the music is not passed through the ZX in any way, but must somehow be transferred to the ZX
playlist and allow navigation. Theoretically it is possible, but
practical usefulness - not very much, if the idea is understood correctly.
If you meant to load WAWs into ZX via tape, then it’s really better
"Tape recorder for speck."

Hello, Black_Cat
What's the problem with playlist? After all, you can download both programs and data.
It’s just that this type of mp3 player
http://www.concom.ru/goods.aspx?type=36&clas=124 management follows the same
wire that is clean! stereo sound in a different frequency range. Those. giving
command "select track xxx yyy" (exactly two coordinates since he can still
switch between albums) we first load the playlist, and then
we reproduce pure sound, without in any way even knowing that it is mp3. But with
on the PC side we find the required mp3 file (if it is a playlist and correct it
special program). Those. Spectrum itself cannot change either the playlists or themselves
files, but it gives its user an interface and can bind the desired
soundtrack to any piece of software for free (not counting the external device)
of the highest quality. But for translation programs this is the sound of words,
these are talking books (after all, there is a command to “scroll forward/backward” any mp3 file
and a lot of other possibilities.

Hello andrews
Although it’s a little different, if you switch the tape output and audio output, then
you can still try to record both playlists and “local
audio data"...programs and other data, both multi-channel, managed and
a high-speed "tape recorder"... of course you can. Overall better
Don’t reject the idea out of hand, but brainstorm it with the metal professionals. I give you an idea
free of charge to the entire spektrumist community with the only condition that
no one subsequently “posted” her and then prosecuted anyone for violating
copyright.

Hello skyther
but this is not just a tape, but also a whole external sound system, it is also “tailored” for
all sorts of manipulations with sound (digital voice recorder, generally digitizer of any
audio input, stereo amplifier for playback, etc. etc.) see in another
branch

Bla> But it is CF that can be read using the IDE, but for SD/MMC you need to invent a new one

hmm.. controversial assumption;) I think that for SD/MMC you don’t need anything at all
invent.. you can connect it to either AY or LPT;) and work with them
will be no more difficult than with a screw, perhaps slower (due to the lack
hardware SPI)..

This player is from Seitec and is probably in every store...besides, it
cheap. I don't understand about the audience. Just a topic for do-it-yourselfers or me
fell behind the times and this market was revived again as a mass market?

CHR> http://zx.pk.ru/showthread.php?t=42...light=HardTaper
so what's there? player using the card. and I'm talking about the fact that you can use a card
tuck it into the spec without any microcircuits at all, straight to AY or LPT and work with
arrays of data (practically a screw turns out, only a low level
rewrite).
