midi, 2-channel... stereo amplifier class AB 650 mW... coefficient. harmonics
0.6%...maximum module size 55x16 (inserted into a 40N DIP socket)
Initial data: supplied in batches of min. 1000 pieces at a price of about $3 per piece. (
excluding customs clearance and VAT)
Correct procedure:
1) complete documentation has been received, including the source code of the software in C.
subject to non-disclosure conditions marked CONFIDENTIAL...2 samples were received
pcs.
2) the resulting samples are tested in a random trial project to the fullest extent
functionality and compliance with the stated technical characteristics
3) the printed circuit board of the product is manufactured and the manufacturer is selected according
requirements of QFN32 PIN technology, pitch 0.5 mm
4) a prototype is tested and demonstrated to potential investors
5) investor(s) are selected...perhaps a bank for a loan of $10-15 thousand.
6) a batch of finished products ISA for PC is sold at a price of $20 per piece for

Yes, the price is somewhat high...there are sound cards for 700 rubles with hardware mp3

started to fly on din... and it puffs like that when gecrftim mp3 on a regular sound system
and it hangs... maybe they plugged such a board into 486 (I remember before the stump appeared
mothers with pci appeared)
But these boards often crash. A couple of these dead guys are on my neighbor's table...and in

Next you need original software. On the one hand, this is bad because it is needed

Why work for a trash heap? It is clear that not a single enterprise manager
will sign up for a loan for internal cards for PC or Spec.
Judging by the capabilities you described, the device can be used as a midi synthesizer + mp3.
Midi is standardly controlled via Com (more precisely, a current loop), and mp3 can be loaded via
Com is possible. Com is available on many, incl. retro computers. Of course Com is not
compare with USB, but Com - this is justified, because external MIDI synthesizers via USB
no one catches, and mp3 can be used as an addition to midi - for
playback of digitized sounds (like Covox to AY on Spectrum). For
implementation as an external device requires a single chip with Com on board
and memory, well, ideally, you can plug in a flash drive with digitized sounds
was used as permanent memory (like the WaveTable in Soundblaster). In such
implementation concepts are much more likely to attract consumer interest in
purchasing this device, and not so much for retrogamers, but for
musicians as a standard midi device with additional opportunities
reproduction of live digitization. Those. the main focus should be on
musicians - their interest will determine whether the device will go into production, or what
it can also be screwed to the Spectrum - this is already a side bonus for the ZX scene.

Synthesizers via USB are very sticky, this is already the norm for modern

I don’t have enough money for all this... then a good-sounding computer will do :)

1200-1500 rubles? Well, what does 250-300 rubles mean in this price?
after all, if the bill goes to tens and hundreds of thousands of copies, then the cost

will buy several games with such cards, but what if there are no free PCIs? I'm afraid for
There are fewer such goals than for an external USB device - you can’t count on it. Yes and no
this is the case - the sound card plays the role of protection, for this there are cheap keys -
both on USB and LPT.

Hello Ronin
Andrius is forced to find or make a commercial project, as far as I understand from his
posts
Personally, I am not interested in this project, because in my opinion, everything for
The spec should be open-source and open-hardware. In the case of this chip, this is the condition
not executed (information on the chip is closed).
