ZXNet echo conference «hardware.zx»
From Nikolaj Amosov → To All 27 September 2003
Greetings, All!
Previously, Spectrum literature contained advertisements for educational
computer complexes based on ZX, in which computers
united into a multifunctional local network, with
software support by N. Rodionov. I wonder what it's like
did this network represent?

The Hobbit had a serial interface (on the 580BB51) and
on its basis (I don’t know how) a full-fledged network was made.
There was something similar in the Yamaha MSX (aka KUVT).
I saw an option when all Spectrums (15 pieces) were in parallel
connected via a tape port. In proprietary Interface-1
there were two ports, and all Spectrums were connected in series.
