Hello fk0 fk0> It is unlikely that there is anything other than plastic there in the adapter. Besides plastic there are only wires. USB/PS/2 auto switching functionality is built into mouse controllers.

Hello, All Thought. I went here to buy a mouse the other day. The most simple one, Zhenius netscroll ah. I wanted a petse-popol, but there was none. There was only a USB one. But the kit included an adapter for PC/2. Hence the question - is the adapter a set of wiring, or does it have something inside it? Is it worth the buffer? And so - why not attach a USB mouse then....
