Kempston Plus

Hello NovaStorm What if we develop a combined joystick+mouse controller? The basic idea is as follows: we have a Kempston joystick port. Bits 5-7 unused. What if you make a controller sitting between the joystick from Shogi (Dendy/SNES/whatever) and broadcasting the click of any functional buttons on it into the combination of bit4 + button number (0 - 7) in bits 5-7. What does this give? This gives full compatibility with games that do not support this extension (any button works like "fire") plus the ability use up to 8 buttons in games that support this.
