Hello, All
The question is, is it possible in principle to configure the heads on two 5'25 drives?
so that they are !!absolutely!! Are they the same in terms of reading and writing disks? A
It’s a shame that you write on one, but on the other only half of the disk can be read normally
and vice versa :) Damn it’s inconvenient :)

In 1995 I wrote a program, I think it was called DiskUst.
It can be adjusted very accurately.

rely on a PC drive (Epson, with a button to eject the disc, as in
3'5; I don’t remember the model) to create it? Japan after all ;) Or in the PCs
According to statistics, disk drives also have different heads?

I once adjusted disk drives on Scorpio using the built-in ROM
disk test. The undoubted convenience of this test is that it begins
read the floppy disk from the last tracks, where errors usually occur
with broken heads. You will tune the last tracks, and the first ones will be read according to
default. Thus, the adjustment did not take much time at all.

I remembered - I used a specialist to drill a hole in the back wall of the drive, opposite
stepper motor, and cut a thread there - then moved the motor to the side
screw, and slowly tightened the screw until all the tracks were read with a bang...
pralna.
So I picked up the dead teak, and rebuilt our not unknown
tractor ELECTRONICS.

In ancient times, I adjusted it with a banal copier and formatter -
look at the triangles - and you will be happy.
The main thing is that the process does not take place the next day after the libations, and hands
shaking :v2_laugh; -; for indeed the process is not so much difficult as
painstaking and time consuming.

I; I would do that...
and ideally, of course, it would be cool to find a written kemnit in THAT time 5.25
disk...
preferably at TEAS....
