I was happy to discover that there are still people who have not forgotten about the ZX-Spectrum. I
I myself was engaged in assembling and setting up Spectrums back in 1989, in Kyiv, during
studying at a military school. It was a nice time.
But that's not what I'm talking about.
My son took up radio electronics. We decided to assemble Leningradka 1 or 2. But in our
city (N.Novgorod) the problem is to find a printed circuit board and firmware for these models.
Help me find or buy.
Today's visit to the local radio market showed that many are ready to sell or
donate production models of Spectrums. But the beauty of this model is that
that you can and should collect it yourself, it’s like a ritual. Many will understand me.

Files with firmware for all possible and impossible Spectrums usually go to
load to any emulator, in the form of binaries... Just take the file from
48 and “cut” in half with improvised means. And flash ROM into the chips
Nowadays, the easiest way is to visit any service center for repairing cash registers.
There are such centers in any more or less large city.

I found the original firmware, and I got my hands on a good emulator. Cut the file
firmware with HEX editor. I even found and repeated the RAM test (in 1989 this
was and remains a dream to this day. A dream come true :-) ).
There really was one question, perhaps a lamer one. But it’s better to blush once again
ask rather than tear out your hair and wring your hands later.

Reading should be 100% identical to 27C512, but writing most likely is not.

Only L1? Actually, the incorrect term (“peripheral”) for busless
computer, “refinement” is more suitable. Therefore, you can practically solder
everything that is implemented for Spec. Among the “mandatory” improvements to Leningrad there are
memory expansion schemes on SIMM (this is more logical than RUs) up to 1-4MB, there are
disk drive controller circuits, IMHO the most successful by Nemo, a simple adapter
AY, turbocharger circuit. Of the interesting things of recent (relatively) time,
there is a Caro multicard circuit (keyboard, mouse), ATA hard drive adapters (HDD,
CD, DVD). The rest is optional and to taste.
