As many have already noticed, a new closed section has appeared. The goal is to create teams
developers of new peripherals for the Spectrum who really want to implement
their plans, as well as unite disparate individuals. The section is closed only
because only constructive dialogue is welcomed there, which in the section
"Iron" is almost not observed. Don't take anyone personally.
Although the section is called HDL, everyone is gladly accepted, just the main one
the idea of using modern technologies in development.
So far there are three projects at the moment, one of which I haven’t heard anything about yet
I can’t say, because... the owner of this project has some problems with
by visiting this forum. The other two are aimed at expanding graphics
capabilities of the Spectrum and the introduction of the next generations of Zilog processors.
The idea belongs to me and Heroy, with whom we have been discussing various
"iron" things for the Spectrum. We would like to see all active iron workers,
ready to at least listen to our thoughts and help with their experience and good advice. I
I won’t name everyone here, there are a lot of bright minds here and in theory that’s all
they know each other. If you are interested in the topics, do not consider it difficult, knock on
contact me in PS for access, I’m just stuck at work right now and everyone personally

IMHO - a general understanding should begin with the creation of the so-called

I can hardly be called “sophisticated”, but I worked with ARM7, namely with
Atmel products - AT91M55800.
I have experience (and developments) in writing for this process “from scratch” (that is, under
bare metal, without OS), and adaptation of Linux-2.0 (kernel) for it.
So if you have questions, please ask them more specifically.
Didn't work with ARM9. Because ARM7 at 32 MHz works very well.

Nothing has been published. This is not a hobby, but for business. So nothing to do with specs
has.
Very small 6-layer board with PXA255, 64 MB SDRAM 32 MB Flash.
I run Linux on it for a specialized device.
