Let's say that there are ass-cutting mobile phones with a com port. Run to write tsp-ip stack and not
fuck (your own) brains with delusional ideas =)
PS: yes, and quite a few mobile phones can pretend to be a (regular) modem.
Which you can squeak, for example, to a landline phone. Although this is at the OBS level.

Due to the huge spread of cellular communications and the low cost of cellular
devices, I bring to your general discussion my old idea :p. You can
try using a cellular line to transfer data from Spec to
Speck right inside the voice channel. Those. send data to the cellphone microphone, and
remove from the speaker. There are several questions. Is it forbidden to transmit
digital streams in voice communication channels, and whether the transmission speed will be
acceptable within the memory capacity, say, 48 K. It is worth considering that there are tariffs
with a few seconds freebie ;) . If you use Spectrum's EAR/MIC, then all
the work (except for the connection) will be purely programmatic. What do you say?

Almost all middle-class mobile phones can do this - for example, Siemens C35, C45, S25,
S35, S/ME45. Regular com port, modem AT commands.
But you need to enable support for this service from your operator (MTS includes
"Mobile Office" services and free of charge). Well, some subtleties of the GSM modem
you need to know (I know, but I don’t think it’s relevant to tell this here).
Best regards, Evgeniy.

Yes, we need another megaphone. Otherwise it doesn't work.

In its pure form, it won’t work; the voice is somehow compressed before transmission.
phone. There is a “data transfer” service in which this compression is simple
turns off.
But, as it is rightly said

I support. GPRS is better suited for this purpose - payment for volumes. When
speck volumes will be very cheap. True, this will be a connection not between two specs, but
Internet access.
You just need to write the software :-).
If you need to connect two specs, then connect the “data transfer” service,
you plug MIC and EAR into your phone (I don’t know where...) and everything will be fine.

No. The service exists, but it has nothing to do with the voice channel. It's simple
allows the modem to work, which is found in some mobile models.

No, there is compression there anyway.

Can you give more details? What does a megaphone have to do with it?

Hello, All
I want to upset everyone right away - even voice is not transmitted in GSM. In the receiving
phone, phonemes are SYNTHESIZED, by which we can determine the voice and what we
there are cormorants there. Therefore, in reality we NEVER hear the voice of the interlocutor via GSM,
than this happens over analog lines. This must be kept in mind. Therefore
Just connecting a microphone/phone won't work.

Hello rw6hrm
Since spektrumists only use freebies, anyone will love this method of communication
it won't work at all :).
