This device is the result of my struggle with flash ;). I tried to do the best I could
simpler: only mega8515, max232 and socket (with zero effort) are used.
I didn’t draw the diagram - see the description. To communicate with the PC uses a protocol
wake, it all started from this source. If there is interest, I will post the sources.
For now you can sew flash, read UV and sew iic (24Cxx). There are plans to support AVR.

Armored train towards you: the COM port can actually be connected to the ATS via
resistors, there is no overload on the MK. How about this?
By the way, what kind of flushes are they - 28, 29?

A little about management:
1. the program has a 64 kb buffer - file->open/save works with this buffer.
Note: open loads the file from the CURRENT address to the end of the buffer (did for more
convenient gluing of roms). Sews only into a zero jar (A16-A18=0), therefore

2. read/write work quite slowly - 64 kb is sewn in 2 minutes :( (no
quartz for fine tuning usart - baud rate 19200)

Good intentions are welcome :)
For the developer:
I use Algorithm Builder 4.7 to develop “my own”.
More than a year.
Excellent IDE, built-in debugger and programmer.
For “other people’s” hexes, I use ByteBlasterNV from Altera with AVReal.
When “stuffing” a clean hex, we have errors in verification (from 4 to 1394).
By deleting the first lines in the hex (with numbers 2хххх) we get “clean” flashing
no errors, but the request does not work. I made a mistake on the MAX232, but it seems that it’s not the problem.
To weed out possible troubles (this applies to all firmware for MK AVR),
I propose to give (like Kamil) a fuz map.
I still haven't started the programmer. There are changes in the circuit - instead of DIP40
I use PLCC44, 32pin connector instead of ZIF. Open the source, Bill! :)

You know right, but not quite.
There are two modifications of them - otp, and uv - ultraviolet erasure.
but they are sewn, as you correctly noted, with 12 volts for both.
otp from a range of cheap disposable ones (cost less than a buck).

IMHO AMD is better - it has about 1,000,000 erases/writes, compared to Atmel

49 he doesn’t sew, and doesn’t plan to. only 28/29. why? because the bios can be on
sew it for mom herself.
regarding the mega: there are many different circuits, if you want a normal programmer
assemble, it is better to STK200. for example here:

Here, I’m meditating on a megabyte of FLASH memory with an organization of 128 kb x 8 bits
quantity 8 pieces.
Flash drives have been recovered from those that were written off and sold for precious metals (there is such a fun thing
in V/Ch, hand over equipment for precious metals) computer boards P1.
Here's what I'm wondering - how these flash drives can be attached to the Spectrum via ZX-BUS in
as a kind of “long-term memory block”?
Chips: SST 29EE010 - 5 pcs. INTEL P29F001 - 1 pc. Winbond W29EE011-15 - 1
pcs. INTEL(?) AT29C010A - 1 pc.
IHMO all 8 microcircuits can be “sewn” with both 12 V and 5 V. The access time is sufficient
not much.
Of course, the resource of rewrite cycles is not particularly large and therefore full-fledged
data drive
there cannot be microcircuits, but they contain the most necessary “service” programs
fitting
in a volume of 1 MB they may well “live” there, so to speak, “for permanent residence”. :)
If anyone has any ideas on how to standardize this matter and at what addresses
in the form of self-made
flash modules by ports, etc. then speak up.
The connection connection seems to be quite simple. I saw this one once
used to connect static RAM chips to the ancient
homemade computer "UT-88".
I'll scan the diagram and post it here. :)
