Yes, in Soviet times such bactericidal irradiators were sold in stores,
brand OBB-92M. It contains 2 DRB8-1 lamps, which are recommended for erasing
domestic UV ROMs (30 minutes for domestic and 10 minutes for imported ones when
direct placement of the ROM window under the lamp). The lamps turn on
standard circuit for switching on fluorescent lamps through a choke (device
ballast 2UBI-8/220VPP-900 or other similar) and 2 starters per
127V.
