OS> Do you need a diagram for connecting the EGA monitor to the spec? give please
=== I quote the file EGA.txt ===
Connection to EGA monitor:
Monitor EGA connector (numbers are indicated on the connector):
1 - GND (ground)
2 - GND
3 - R
4 - G
5 - B
6 - Bright (brightness signal)
7 - ---
8 - horizontal sync pulse (ss)
9 - frame sync pulse (ks)
Signals R, G, B, Bright are taken from the computer board at TTL levels.
Take ss and ks also TTL and separately from each other
friend, they (sync pulses) need to be inverted.
For Scorpion, signals are taken from the following microphones:
R - 7 pins D42;
G - 12 pins D42;
B - 4 pins D42;
Bright - 9 pins D42;
ks - 12 pins D11;
ss - 13 pin D11.
To eliminate black highlighting at high brightness (BRIGHT 1)
the following diagram is assembled:
_____ _____
R --| | |---------| |
G --| 1 o----------0---------| 1 o--- Bright (per monitor)
B --|___| |-----|___|
_____ |
|--| | |
Bright -0--| 1 o-------|
|--|___|
Logic 3 elements 3OR-NOT - K555LE4.
Pinout K555LE4:
_____ _____ _____
1 --| | 3 --| | 9 --| |
2 --| 1 o-- 12 4 --| 1 o-- 6 10 --| 1 o-- 8
13 --|___| 5 --|___| 11 --|___|===End quote ===
