Hello, All
I've been wanting some kind of Spec for a long time, yesterday they brought me Leningrad.
I want to connect it in black and white to my computer via a TV tuner, but there is no synchronization
images, everything flickers. When connected to an old Funai TV,
There is synchronization, but the screen is slightly distorted.
I found this note in the ZX Review...

Can such a fix help me achieve normal synchronization?

Hello brian4ever
If the spec is furious on TV, well, it displays the screensaver and prints eroglyphs, then
will help.
What issue of ZX Review is this picture from???
There was also a topic “Correct video output in Leningad” (something like this), there
An option was proposed using a ROM with makeshift devices.

Look for the synchro mix on the board, feed it to the video of the composite input and you’ll be fine

Hello brian4ever
bri> true colors are inverted
It’s clear, most likely the trouble is due to the fact that the trannys are beating with all their foolishness (there was
already such a topic), and as a result the synchronization fails (that’s how it works for me
itself a tuner with poorly assembled specs). Come to my site, in my
In the diagram, the denominations of the shortcuts are selected normally.
bri> There synchronization comes from the 6th leg of KP14
If this microcosm with RGB also comes with it, then this is not synchronization, but a brightness bit (pin
12), synchro cannot come from any KP;) And if RGB really comes from KP14, then
That means they are definitely inverted, replace them with KP11.

It beeps normally, when connected to the TV funai everything works, although the colors are
inverted, but I know how to deal with this. Synchronization problem
only when I connect it to a TV tuner. And this picture is from page 348 of the PDF subscript
for 91 years.

There, synchronization comes from the 6th leg of the KP14, this leg is no longer useful
soldered. I tried to connect it as in some diagrams through a diode and
resistors to the color channels and to the power plus, but this doesn’t change anything at all.
I tried to connect Leningrad via S-video. Nothing changes, image
Yes, but the synchronization is bad, everything flickers. I'll try to do it this evening
revision as written in the note.. maybe it will help...

Sorry, I got confused, you don’t need a synchro mix (then you’ll just have a white screen), but
the so-called Video signal, which in addition to synchronization also includes colors
are involved. And the 6th leg of KP14 is the entrance, so either it goes somewhere else, or you
That's not what you're looking for. In general, what kind of Leningrad do you have - first, second, or maybe even
KAY? Take the diagram from that computer, and on it you will see where to get the signal from.

If the summaries are all at face value, then everything should work (well, at least with
by finalizing the sync pulse), only the signal needs to be taken from VIDEO (I
I understand that previously there was only SYNC), the one that comes from the transyuk (if it is somehow
miraculously it goes through the conduit, then it’s better to pick out the conduit).
The transducers and diodes must be connected as in the diagram.

Hello fan

Exactly, I wrote from work, so I misspoke, the synchro comes from the 6th leg of LP5, the one with
edge next to checkpoint 14..
I already wrote, I don’t have a diode and resistors D4 and R16-18 according to your circuit, maybe
Is this causing trouble? I tried soldering on top, but it didn't help...
I replaced CP 14 with CP 11 so that there would be no inversion.. is it necessary to change?
What is the polarity of the three diodes that comes from it? I didn't change it, it's fine on TV
It works, it's still the same on the tuner..

60 ohms are soldered in, according to the diagram you need 600 ohms. I installed kilo-ohms (we had them on hand) and
everything works great!!!

Hello brian4ever
In general, it’s not great, I didn’t get around to experimenting all week,
I got there today, the synchronization is still very bad... I don’t know what to do,
I have already set all the resistors to their nominal value, :( . after switching on, synchronization
yes, if you type at least border 0, everything will disappear immediately... and from the 6th leg
D11, where the synchro should come from, it seems to me that some kind of trash is coming, please tell me,
what else should I try...
Accidentally poked the 4th leg of D2, and it became better, but not quite good, but there, like me
I understand the master oscillator of the system bus..
Maybe I’m talking nonsense... Maybe one of my microcircuits is burnt, tell me where
dig..

This is already a strapping problem. Maybe some shortcuts are defective, maybe shortcuts
lightly toasted. x.z.
IMHO the glitches are precisely because of this.

Hello brian4ever
Try setting the quartz to 14 MHz. And then there were specimens with quartz on
16 MHz, they had problems with synchronization even on TV.
If it gets even worse with quartz at 14 MHz, then you need to “straighten” the circuit
counters (I don’t remember what presets are needed) how it should be in
standard scheme.
