If this happens, then check connection (or the drive is still faulty) - when giving the CAT command to make the disk spin, start pushing the jumpers across alone. If after poking the disk does not start spinning slower (and this the change is clearly visible), then return it to its original position and change next. First of all, check the MS (motor speed) jumper - if it doesn’t help, connect pin 2 of the drive to the common wire and change it again all jumpers.
