From Costa Pilnik → To Nikolaj Amosov 29 June 2004
Hi Nikolaj!
I am responding to your letter dated June 26, 2004, then written by Nikolaj Amosov
to Aleksandr Majorov, and then it was 20:50:06 on the clock.
NA> Today I took off the protective screen, unscrewed the back cover, turned it on
NA> Then I remembered how it all started - I bought a network filter and
NA> Speck became grounded. The protective screen is attached with a wire
NA> to the power supply housing.
Look, the static is removed from the kinescope? (such as a spring or braid
metal around the tube, hooked to the ground)
NA> But why do the clicks come from, because the monitor is turned on through the same block
NA> power supply with a normal three-pin wire and therefore narrower
NA> grounded.
NA> In general, when I turn on the monitor I take pictures for a few minutes
NA> protective screen from the monitor...
;)
